Abstract
The metaphorming model was a model that could improve and develop students' creative thinking in accordance with current learning activities. The research aimed to determine the effect of the metaphorming learning model on the creativity of 10th-grade students at SMAN 5 Cilegon in the sub-concept of environmental change and preservation. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest and posttest control group design. The study was conducted at SMAN 5 Cilegon during the 2023/2024 academic year. The research sample consisted of 60 students, with 30 students in the control group and 30 students in the experimental group, selected using purposive sampling. Data collection employed both test and non-test instruments. The data analysis techniques used in this study included validity tests, reliability tests, difficulty levels, and discrimination power. The results revealed that the students' creativity in creative thinking and creative products taught using the metaphorming learning model was higher compared to those taught using the PJBL model. The average score for creativity in creative thinking in the control class was 50.47, categorized as less creative, while in the experimentall class, it was 62.67, categorized as sufficiently creative. Meanwhile, the average score for creative products in the experimental class was 73.33, categorized as creative, and in the control class, it was 63.36, categorized as sufficiently creative. It can be concluded that the metaphorming learning model had an effect on students' creativity at SMAN 5 Cilegon.

Additional Information: | Model metaphorming merupakan model yang dapat meningkatkan dan mengembangkan pemikiran kreatif siswa sesuai dengan aktivitas pembelajaran saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran metaphorming terhadap kreativitas siswa kelas X SMAN 5 kota Cilegon pada sub konsep perubahan dan pelestarian lingkungan hidup. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest dan postest control group. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 5 Kota Cilegon tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 siswa terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas kontrol dan 30 siswa kelas eksperimen yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes dan non tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran dan daya pembeda. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa kemampuan kreativitas siswa pada aspek berpikir kreatif dan produk kreatif yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran metaphorming lebih tinggi dari pada dengan menggunakan model PJBL. Nilai rata-rata kreativitas berupa berpikir kreatif pada kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai 50.47 pada kategori kurang kreatif dan di kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai 62.67 pada kategori cukup kreatif. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata produk kreatif pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 73.33 pada kategori kreatif dan kelas kontrol 63.36 pada kategori cukup kreatif. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran metaphorming berpengaruh terhadap kreativitas siswa pada sekolah SMAN 5 Cilegon. | |||||||||
