Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of differentiated learning integrated Think Pair Share model on students’ critical thinking skills on excretory system material. This research is a quantitative study with quasi-experimental method and a nonequivalent control group design. Data collection was carried out at SMA Yuppentek 1 Tangerang in the even semester of the 2023/2024 school year. The population in this study were all class XI, with class XI-2 research samples as experimental classes and class XI-8 as control classes. The instruments used in this study are the essay questions for pretest and posttest also supported by the observation sheets for the implementation of the Think Pair Share model. The T test results show a significance level 0f 0.00 (<0.05), so that H0 was rejected. The results indicate that there is an effect of differentiated learning integrated Think Pair Share model on students’ critical thinking skills.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terintegrasi model Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi sistem ekskresi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain nonequivalent control group. Pengambilan data dilakukan di SMA Yuppentek 1 Tangerang pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI dengan sampel penelitian kelas XI-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI-8 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa soal uraian untuk pretest dan posttest serta lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model Think Pair Share. Hasil uji T menunjukkan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,00 (<0,05), sehingga H0 ditolak. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terintegrasi model Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.
