Abstract
The issue of child protection in Indonesia is still one of the main issues that is widely discussed. Cases of child abuse in Serang Regency continued to increase from 2021 to 2023. UPTD PPA Serang Regency as a unit that implements child protection efforts and provides services from acts of violence is the background of this research. This study aims to determine how the implementation of child protection policies from acts of violence at UPTD PPA Serang Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. This study uses Edward III's policy implementation theory which consists of 4 indicators, namely; Communication, Resources, Disposition, Bureaucratic Structure. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of child protection policies at UPTD PPA Serang Regency has not run optimally. As in the aspects of communication and resources that need to be improved. UPTD PPA Serang Regency is expected to increase information transmission to the community as well as increase experts and facilities in order to achieve effective and efficient services.

| Additional Information: | Permasalahan terhadap perlindungan terhadap anak di Indonesia masih menjadi salah satu isu utama yang banyak dibicarakan. Kasus kekerasan anak di Kabupaten Serang terus mengalami peningkatan dari tahun 2021 hingga 2023. UPTD PPA Kabupaten Serang sebagai unit yang melaksanakan upaya perlindungan anak serta memberikan pelayanan dari tindak kekerasan yang menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan kebijakan perlindungan anak dari tindak kekerasan di UPTD PPA Kabupaten Serang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori implementasi kebijakan Edward III yang terdiri dari 4 indikator yaitu; Komunikasi, Sumberdaya, Disposisi, Struktur Birokrasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam implementasi kebijakan perlindungan anak di UPTD PPA Kabupaten Serang belum berjalan optimal. Seperti pada aspek komunikasi dan sumberdaya yang perlu ditingkatkan lagi. UPTD PPA Kabupaten Serang diharapkan dapat melakukan peningkatan transmisi informasi kepada masyarakat serta peningkatan tenaga ahli dan fasilitas agar mencapai pelayanan efektif dan efisien. | ||||||
