Abstract

This research aims to overcome students' low interest in reading which is a serious problem in Indonesia. This research offers a solution in the form of developing an innovative learning product, namely e-Bioedustory on the concept of biodiversity. E-Bioedustory is a learning product that presents material in the form of interesting serial stories equipped with learning videos and interactive quizzes on digital platforms. This research uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with the Borg and Gall (1989) model research design. The overall product validation results by experts obtained a figure of 95%, while the overall user response test results were 89%. In this case it can be categorized that the e-Bioedustory biology series as a whole is included in the very worthy category. It is recommended that this research be continued until the final stage of the Borg and Gall RnD model, namely Dissemination and Implementation and further tests need to be carried out to determine the effectiveness of the e-Bioedustory story series on student learning outcomes.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi rendahnya minat membaca siswa yang merupakan masalah serius di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menawarkan solusi berupa pengembangan produk pembelajaran inovatif yaitu e-Bioedustory pada konsep keanekaragaman hayati. E-Bioedustory adalah produk pembelajaran yang menyajikan materi berupa cerita serial yang menarik yang dilengkapi dengan video pembelajaran dan quiz interaktif di platform digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan desain penelitian model Borg dan Gall (1989). Hasil validasi produk secara keseluruhan oleh ahli memperoleh angka sebesar 95%, sedangkan hasil uji respon pengguna secara keseluruhan sebesar 89%. Dalam hal ini dapat dikategorikan bahwa cerita serial biologi e-Bioedustory secara keseluruhan termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak. Penelitian ini disarankan untuk dilanjutkan hingga tahap akhir dari model Borg and Gall RnD yaitu Diseminasi dan Implementasi dan perlu dilakukan uji lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui keefektifan cerita berseri e-Bioedustory terhadap hasil belajar siswa.
