Abstract
The continuous use of inorganic fertilizers can damage the physical properties of the soil, therefore an alternative is needed, namely by using organic fertilizers. This study aims to determine the potential of liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) from melinjo leaves (Gnetum gnemon) on the growth of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum), then analyze the research facts of making melinjo leaves LOF which can be implemented as project module content in the Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). This research used an experimental method consisting of the stages of making melinjo leaves LOF, application of melinjo leaves LOF on tomato plants, and analysis of melinjo leaf facts as the content of the P5 activity project module. The application of melinjo leaves LOF on tomato plants was carried out using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) research design with 4 (four) treatments and 2 (two) replications. The treatments included P0- (100% water), P0+ (2% infarm LOF), P1 (20% melinjo leaves LOF), and P2 (40% melinjo leaves LOF). The test results of melinjo leaves LOF content showed that the content of macro nutrients, C-organic, and pH in the LOF was not in accordance with the quality standards, but the levels of iron (Fe) and heavy metals were in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia. However, the results of statistical tests on the average growth of tomato plants show that the application of melinjo leaves LOF has an effect on 3 (three) parameters, namely stem diameter, root length, and plant wet weight. The facts about melinjo leaf as the main ingredient for making LOF were analyzed as recommendations for the content of the P5 activity project module for the theme of sustainable lifestyle and local wisdom, such as melinjo plants are quite abundant in Banten, old melinjo leaf contain nutrients needed by LOF and are rarely used in Banten, and organic fertilizers can be used as an alternative to inorganic fertilizers to maintain soil physical properties.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi dari pupuk organik cair (POC) daun melinjo (Gnetum gnemon) terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman tomat (Solanum lycopersicum), selanjutnya menganalisis fakta penelitian pembuatan POC daun melinjo yang dapat diimplementasikan sebagai konten modul proyek dalam kegiatan Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yang terdiri dari tahapan pembuatan POC daun melinjo, aplikasi POC daun melinjo pada tanaman tomat, dan analisis fakta-fakta daun melinjo sebagai konten modul proyek kegiatan P5. Aplikasi POC daun melinjo pada tanaman tomat dilakukan menggunakan desain penelitian Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 (empat) perlakuan dan 2 (dua) kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan meliputi P0- (100% air), P0+ (2% POC infarm), P1 (20% POC daun melinjo), dan P2 (40% POC daun melinjo). Hasil uji kandungan POC daun melinjo menunjukkan bahwa kandungan unsur hara makro, C-organik, dan pH dalam POC tersebut belum sesuai dengan standar mutu, namun kadar besi (Fe) dan logam berat sudah sesuai dengan Keputusan Menteri Pertanian Republik Indonesia. Akan tetapi, hasil uji statistik rata-rata pertumbuhan tanaman tomat menunjukkan bahwa pemberian POC daun melinjo memberikan pengaruh pada 3 (tiga) parameter yaitu diameter batang, panjang akar, dan berat basah tanaman. Fakta-fakta mengenai daun melinjo sebagai bahan utama pembuatan POC dianalisis sebagai rekomendasi konten modul proyek kegiatan P5 untuk tema gaya hidup berkelanjutan dan kearifan lokal, seperti tanaman melinjo cukup melimpah di Banten, daun melinjo tua mengandung unsur hara yang dibutuhkan oleh POC dan jarang dimanfaatkan di Banten, serta pupuk organik dapat dijadikan alternatif pupuk anorganik untuk menjaga sifat fisik tanah. | |||||||||
