Abstract
The issue of slums is still one of the public problems that major cities in Indonesia have. These slums are defined as settlements that are not livable. Cilegon is one of the richest cities in Banten Province. But it turns out that there are still slums found, precisely the most in Pulomerak District. It turns out that there are several problems in its implementation. Among them are limited human resources, limited budget, weak coordination. This research uses qualitative research methods. In this study using Leo Agustino's Evaluation Theory. The result of the research is that it turns out that the implementation of this slum handling has gone well. However, it cannot all be handled at one time due to the limitations of human resources and the budget. But in its implementation, infrastructure facilities must require special attention because this is one of the most important parts of the slum handling program. In Pulomerak Sub-district, the focus is only on neighborhood roads. But it turns out that other facilities and infrastructure are still not good such as drainage in some neighborhoods, clean water sources, building regularity is still lacking. The suggestion for this result research from the author that is the implementation of slum management have to really be able to equalize development in every area that is considered slum. The government should not only focus on one development, and also needs to socialize the community to be able to live healthy and protect their environment.

| Additional Information: | Permasalahan permukiman kumuh masih menjadi salah satu masalah publik yang dimiliki oleh Kota-Kota besar di Indonesia. Permukiman kumuh ini diartikan sebagai permukiman yang tidak layak huni. Cilegon ini termasuk dalam Kota terkaya di Provinsi Banten. Tetapi ternyata masih ditemukan permukiman kumuh tepatnya paling banyak berada di Kecamatan Pulomerak. Ternyata terdapat beberapa permasalahan dalam implementasinya. Diantaranya yaitu keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, keterbatasan anggaran, lemahnya koordinasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Evaluasi Leo Agustino. Hasil penelitiannya yaitu ternyata pelaksanaan penanganan permukiman kumuh ini sudah berjalan dengan baik. Namun, memang tidak bisa semua ditangani dalam satu waktu karena keterbatasan dari sumber daya manusia dan anggarannya. Tetapi dalam implementasinya pada sarana prasana harus memerlukan perhatian khusus karena ini merupakan bagian salah satu paling penting dalam program penanganan permukiman kumuh. Di Kecamatan Pulomerak paling difokuskan yaitu hanya jalanan lingkungan. Tetapi ternyata sarana dan prasarana lain masih kurang baik seperti drainase dibeberapa lingkungan, sumber air bersih, keberaturan bangunan itu masih kurang. Saran yang diberikan dari penulis yaitu pelaksanaan penanganan permukiman kumuh ini harus benar-benar bisa meratakan pembangunan disetiap wilayah yang ternilai kumuh. Pemerintah jangan hanya focus pada satu pembangunan saja, dan juga perlu melakukan sosialisasi terhadap masyarakat untuk bisa hidup sehat dan menjaga lingkungan mereka. | ||||||
