Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of concept attainment learning model on learning motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of students in class XI motion system material at SMA Negeri 8 Pandeglang. The method used was quasi-experiment with Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The population in this study was class XI A1 and A2 selected by purposive sampling technique. Data were taken with test and non-test techniques, the results showed that the motivation of experimental class students was 84 and the control class was 78 with a good category. The results of the learning motivation hypothesis test using the independent sample test show a significance where 0.005 <0.05, so the hypothesis is accepted. Cognitive learning outcomes showed an experimental class of 87.57 and a control class of 73.42 and the results of hypothesis testing of students' cognitive learning outcomes using the paired test obtained results where 0.000 <0.05. So according to the provisions of the hypothesis can be accepted, meaning that there is indeed an effect of concept attainment learning model on learning motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of students on the material of the motion system class XI at SMAN 8 Pandeglang.

Data diambil dengan teknik tes dan non tes, hasil penelitian menunjukan motivasi belajar siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 84 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 78 dengan kategori baik. Hasil uji hipotesis motivasi belajar dengan menggunakan uji independent sample test menunjukan signifikasi dimana 0,005 < 0,05 maka hipotesis diterima. Hasil belajar kognitif menunjukan kelas ekperimen sebesar 87,57 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 73,42 dan hasil uji hipotesis hasil belajar kognitif siswa dengan menggunakan uji paired test memperoleh hasil yaitu dimana 0,000 < 0,05. Maka menurut ketentuan hipotesis dapat diterima, maknanya memang terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran concept attainment terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi sistem gerak kelas XI di SMAN 8 Pandeglang. | |||||||||
