Abstract
Nutritional problems in adults have become a major concern due to the high prevalence of obesity and degenerative diseases. This study aims to develop a web-based application called the Nutrition Calculator (GizCalc), designed to assist in calculating dietary intake, nutritional content, and nutritional status. The development of GizCalc utilized the Guidelines for Rapid Application Engineering (GRAPPLE) method, encompassing stages of requirement gathering, analysis, design, and development. Supporting data were derived from the Indonesian food composition table, nutritional adequacy figures, and food exchange lists. Validation of GizCalc was conducted through likert scale-based trials involving 21 experts, consisting of nutritionists and information technology specialists. GizCalc features key functionalities such as a body mass index (BMI) calculator, food intake calculation and planning, and physical activity recording. Additionally, GizCalc is supported by web-based data storage and educational articles on nutrition accessible to users. The validation results show that GizCalc operates effectively and received highly positive evaluations from users, with an average likert scale score of 4.1–4.7, equivalent to a satisfaction level above 80%. Therefore, GizCalc has been successfully developed and is deemed feasible as a web-based tool for calculating dietary intake, nutritional content, and nutritional status. GizCalc can be further enhanced with personalized and specific dietary recommendations based on expert suggestions.

| Additional Information: | Masalah gizi pada individu dewasa menjadi perhatian utama akibat tingginya prevalensi obesitas dan penyakit degeneratif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi Gizi Calculator (GizCalc) berbasis web yang dirancang untuk membantu perhitungan asupan makanan, zat gizi, dan status gizi. Pengembangan GizCalc menggunakan metode Guidelines for Rapid Application Engineering (GRAPPLE), yang mencakup tahap pengumpulan kebutuhan, analisis, perancangan, dan pengembangan, dengan data pendukung berasal dari tabel komposisi pangan Indonesia, angka kecukupan gizi, serta daftar bahan makanan penukar. Kemudian validasi GizCalc dilakukan melalui uji coba berbasis skala likert oleh 21 orang ahli, yang terdiri dari ahli gizi dan ahli teknologi informasi. GizCalc memiliki fitur utama seperti kalkulator indeks massa tubuh (IMT), perhitungan dan perencanaan asupan makanan, serta pencatatan aktivitas fisik. Selain itu, GizCalc didukung dengan penyimpanan data berbasis web dan artikel edukasi tentang gizi yang dapat diakses. Hasil validasi GizCalc menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berfungsi dengan baik dan mendapatkan penilaian sangat positif dari pengguna, dengan skor rata-rata 4,1–4,7 pada skala likert, setara dengan tingkat kepuasan di atas 80%. Dengan demikian, GizCalc telah berhasil dikembangkan dan layak digunakan sebagai alat bantu perhitungan asupan makanan, zat gizi, dan status gizi berbasis teknologi web.
