Abstract

This research aims to develop the TikTok filter “Guess My Job,” designed to assist Generation Z in exploring various career options and enhancing their understanding of career interests. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the Waterfall model, which encompasses the stages of Analysis, Design, Coding, and Testing. The participants of this study consisted of 17 twelfth-grade students from SMAN 7 Kota Serang, identified as part of Generation Z with the lowest levels of career interest comprehension. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The feasibility test results indicated a score of 95% for the instrument and material validation, and 92.18% for media and language validation. The overall average score was 93.59%, placing it in the "highly feasible" category. Based on the findings from the limited trial, students’ understanding of career interests improved by 59%, indicating that the TikTok filter “Guess My Job” is highly suitable for enhancing Generation Z’s understanding of career interests.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan filter TikTok “Guess My Job” yang dapat membantu Generasi Z dalam mengeksplorasi berbagai pilihan karir serta meningkatkan pemahaman mereka terhadap minat karir mereka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (R&D) dengan model Waterfall yang mencakup tahap Analisa, Desain, Pengkodean, dan Pengujian. Partisipan uji coba penelitian ini yaitu 17 orang peserta didik kelas XII SMAN 7 Kota Serang yang termasuk kedalam kategori Generasi Z dengan pemahaman minat karir terendah. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil uji coba kelayakan produk memperoleh skor sebesar 95% pada uji kelayakan instrumen dan materi, kemudian 92,18% pada uji kelayakan media dan bahasa. Sehingga nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 93,59% atau berada pada kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan pada hasil uji coba terbatas, pemahaman minat karir para peserta didik meningkat hingga 59%, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa Filter TikTok “Guess My Job” cukup layak untuk diimplementasikan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman minat karir Generasi Z.
