Abstract
ABSTRACT Uus Fanny Nur Rahayu 6670190020. The Politics of Data Collection in This article aims to examine issues regarding the politics of voter data collection in elections in the city of Serang for the 2019-2024 elections. Updating voter data is carried out so that the public has good concern regarding administration so that it has an impact on orderly election administration. To avoid irregularities in the process of collation of voter data, this research uses two theories, namely Political Dynamics according to Agustino (2009) and Political Systems according to Easton (1992 ). The research method applied is qualitative with an intrinsic case study approach, involving concrete entities such as individuals, small groups, organizations, or partnerships. The research results revealed several obstacles in updating voter data, including the existence of multiple voters, voters who do not meet the requirements (such as voters who have died, changed domicile, or are not old enough), data errors (such as names, addresses, and identity numbers), and unregistered voters. Apart from that, there are problems in coordination between related agencies and a lack of outreach to the community. The low level of public participation in updating voter data is caused by a lack of adequate information and understanding of the process. the importance of the process of matching and researching voter data. Voter enthusiasm and involvement in data matching for elections remains low, mainly due to a lack of information and understanding about the importance of the process.

| Additional Information: | Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persoalan mengenai politik pendataan pemilih pada pemilu di kota serang pemilu tahun 2019-2024. Pemutakhiran data pemilih dilakukan agar masyarakat memiliki kepedulian yang baik dalam hal administrasi sehingga berdampak pada ketertiban administrasi pemilu, Untuk menghindari penyimpangan dalam proses pencoklitan data pemilih, penelitian ini menggunakan dua teori, yaitu Dinamika Politik menurut Agustino (2009) dan Sistem Politik menurut Easton (1992). Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus intrinsik, yang melibatkan entitas konkret seperti individu, kelompok kecil, organisasi, atau kemitraan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan beberapa kendala dalam pemutakhiran data pemilih, termasuk adanya pemilih ganda, pemilih yang tidak memenuhi syarat (seperti pemilih yang telah meninggal, pindah domisili, atau belum cukup umur), kesalahan data (seperti nama, alamat, dan nomor identitas), serta pemilih yang belum terdaftar. Selain itu, terdapat masalah dalam kordinasi antar instansi terkait dan kurangnya sosialisasi kepada masyarakat. Rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemutakhiran data pemilih disebabkan oleh kurangnya informasi dan pemahaman yang memadai tentang proses tersebut. pentingnya proses pencocokan dan penelitian data pemilih.
