Abstract
English lessons are taught at every level of the educational process, from primary school to higher education. Many children consider English to be a difficult subject for them because they must be able to read, write, and listen. The goal to be achieved is to improve vocabulary skills in English learning through WordWall-based educational games in grade VII of SMPN 5 Pandeglang.This research uses a qualitative research methodology, because this research aims to describe the facts or phenomena that occur during the research. The type of research used is descriptive analytical. The discussion includes: (1) Initial Conditions of Students in English Learning: (2) Utilization of Wordwall Games in English Learning: (3) Students' Vocabulary Skills with the Use of WordWall-based Educational Games: (4) Obstacles to Wordwall Game Development: (5) The Use of WordWall-based Educational Games in Improving Students' Vocabulary Skills in English Learning in Grade VII SMPN 5 Pandeglang. The use of wordwall educational games for grade VII students of SMPN 5 Pandeglang has a positive influence because it increases motivation during the learning process on the English subject matter being learned and can develop students' thinking power as well as competitiveness to understand the subject matter. Wordwall educational learning media is useful during the learning process in the classroom can change the mindset of students about the difficulty of learning English which previously used conventional methods.

Additional Information: | Pelajaran bahasa Inggris dibelajarkan di setiap tingkat proses pendidikan, dari sekolah dasar hingga pendidikan tinggi. Banyak anak yang menganggap bahasa Inggris adalah mata pelajaran yang sulit bagi mereka karena mereka harus bisa reading, writing, dan listening. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan vocabulary dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris melalui game edukasi berbasis WordWall di kelas VII SMPN 5 Pandeglang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif, karena penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fakta atau fenomena yang terjadi saat penelitian. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif analitis. Pembahasan meliputi: (1) Kondisi Awal Peserta Didik pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris: (2) Pemanfaatan Game Wordwall pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris: (3) Kemampuan Vocabulary Peserta Didik dengan pemanfaatan game edukasi berbasis WordWall: (4) Kendala Pengembangan Game Wordwall: (5) Penggunaan game edukasi berbasis WordWall dalam meningkatkan kemampuan vocabulary siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa inggris di kelas VII SMPN 5 Pandeglang. Pemanfaatan game edukasi wordwall kepada peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 5 Pandeglang memberikan pengaruh positif karena meningkatkan motivasi selama proses pembelajaran pada materi pelajaran bahasa Inggris yang dibelajarkan dan dapat mengembangkan daya berpikir juga daya saing peserta didik untuk memahami materi pelajaran. Media pembelajaran edukasi wordwall berguna selama proses pembelajaran di kelas bisa merubah pola pikir peserta didik tentang sulitnya belajar bahasa Inggris yang sebelumnya menggunakan metode konvensial. | |||||||||
