Abstract
Tanjidor music is an integral part of the cultural heritage in Tangerang Regency. This journal explores the existence of tanjidor music as a traditional art form that has an important role in the preservation of local culture. This research involves a qualitative approach by collecting data through direct observation, interviews, and analysis of related documents. The results highlight the contribution of tanjidor music in maintaining cultural values, caring for local identity, and involving the community in efforts to preserve cultural heritage. This research also highlights the challenges and opportunities faced by tanjidor music in facing modernization and social change in Tangerang Regency. The implications of cultural preservation and the development of forms of adaptation to support the existence of tanjidor music in the future are also discussed.

| Additional Information: | Kesenian musik tanjidor merupakan bagian integral dari warisan budaya di Kabupaten Tangerang. Jurnal ini mengeksplorasi eksistensi musik tanjidor sebagai bentuk seni tradisional yang memiliki peran penting dalam pelestarian budaya lokal. Penelitian ini melibatkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui observasi langsung, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menyoroti kontribusi kesenian musik tanjidor dalam mempertahankan nilai-nilai budaya, merawat identitas lokal, serta melibatkan masyarakat dalam upaya pelestarian warisan budaya. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi oleh kesenian musik tanjidor dalam menghadapi modernisasi dan perubahan sosial di Kabupaten Tangerang. Implikasi pelestarian budaya dan pengembangan strategi untuk mendukung eksistensi kesenian musik tanjidor di masa depan juga dibahas. | |||||||||
