Abstract
This study examines the implementation of inclusive education policies at SMA Negeri 2 Kota Serang to describe the processes, challenges, and supporting factors. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, employing observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data from the principal, school counselors, subject teachers, class teachers, students, and parents. The findings indicate that policy implementation has followed key steps, such as inclusive student admissions through PPDB, stakeholder coordination, and teacher briefings. However, major challenges include insufficient training, limited resources, and varying levels of teacher understanding. Additionally, physical facilities remain inadequate to support accessibility for students with special needs, although efforts to foster a psychologically inclusive environment are evident. In conclusion, successful implementation of inclusive education policies requires enhanced teacher training, more active parental involvement, and improved collaboration and communication among stakeholders.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi kebijakan pendidikan inklusif di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Serang untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan, tantangan, serta faktor pendukungnya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data dari kepala sekolah, guru BK, guru mata pelajaran, wali kelas, siswa, serta orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan telah melalui tahapan penting seperti penerimaan siswa inklusif melalui PPDB, koordinasi antar pemangku kepentingan, dan pemberian informasi kepada guru. Namun, tantangan utama meliputi kurangnya pelatihan, sumber daya, dan pemahaman guru yang bervariasi. Selain itu, fasilitas fisik belum memadai untuk mendukung aksesibilitas siswa berkebutuhan khusus, meskipun upaya untuk menciptakan lingkungan psikologis yang inklusif sudah terlihat. Kesimpulannya, keberhasilan implementasi kebijakan pendidikan inklusif memerlukan peningkatan pelatihan bagi guru, keterlibatan orang tua yang lebih aktif, serta kolaborasi dan komunikasi yang lebih baik antar pihak terkait. | |||||||||
