Abstract
The focus of this research is the effectiveness of building approvals through the building management information system at the Serang City Public Works and Spatial Planning Department. The aim of this research is to obtain data results regarding the effectiveness of a SIMBG system in issuing building approvals in the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Serang City. The method used in this research uses a quantitative method involving 166 respondents from applicants registered on the SIMBG website to obtain Building Approval. This was screened using a random sampling technique method where questionnaires were distributed based on several building functions registered with SIMBG. The theory used is System Effectiveness theory using the PIECES method (performance, information, economy, control, efficiency and service). Collecting data is by distributing questionnaires. To analyze the data using the t one sample test hypothesis. Based on the research results, it shows that the effectiveness of Building Approval through the Building Management Information System at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Serang City is declared effective. This is based on the hypothesis testing criteria where it is known that the value is (8.628 > 1.654), so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This is reinforced by factual community satisfaction survey measurements which obtained a score of 83.08% or obtained an assessment of more than 60% which is said to be effective. The researcher's suggestions for the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Serang City are expected to be able to maintain Building Management Information System services in issuing Building Approvals which are said to be good and can improve services which are not yet considered optimal.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan hasil data mengenai Efektivitas dari sebuah Sistem SIMBG dalam menerbitkan Persetujuan Bangunan Gedung di Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kota Serang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 166 responden dari pemohon yang teregister pada website SIMBG untuk memperoleh Persetujuan Bangunan Gedung, hal ini disaring dengan menggunakan metode teknik random sampling dimana angket disebar dengan adanya beberapa fungsi bangunan yang terdaftar pada SIMBG. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori Efektivitas Sistem dengan menggunakan metode PIECES (performance, information, economy, control, efisiensi, dan service). Dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner. Untuk menganalisa data menggunakan uji hipotesis t one sample test . berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Efektivitas Persetujuan Bangunan Gedung melalui Sistem Informasi Manajemen Bangunan Gedung pada Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kota Serang dinyatakan efektif, hal ini didasarkan kepada kriteria pengujian hipotesis dimana diketahui bahwa nilai (8.628 > 1.654) maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima hasil tersebut diperkuat dengan pengukuran survei kepuasan masyarakat secara faktual memperoleh nilai 83,08% atau mendapatkan peniliaian lebih dari 60% yang dimana maka dikatakan efektif. Saran peneliti untuk Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kota Serang diharapkan bisa mempertahankan pelayanan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Bangunan Gedung dalam menerbitkan Persetujuan Bangunan Gedung yang sudah dikatakan baik dan dapat meningkatkan pelayanan yang belum dirasa optimal. | ||||||
