Abstract

The low level of students' conservation literacy skills so that students have an attitude of indifference towards the surrounding environment is the main problem currently being faced. The existence of contextual learning media can be a solution to this problem. This research aims to determine the effect of using websites on biodiversity based on the results of research on the literacy skills of class VII middle school conservation students. The research method used was a quasi experiment carried out on class VII students at SMPN 1 Pandeglang. Students' conservation literacy abilities are measured through the achievement of learning outcomes and the learning process in three aspects of conservation literacy, namely the cognitive indicator aspect (which is measured using posttest-pretest questions), the affective indicator aspect (which is measured using an attitude questionnaire) and the psychomotor indicator aspect (which is measured using assignments product poster). Based on the research results of the experimental class using the EDUKASI website media and the control class using power point media, the results of both were normally distributed. Hypothesis testing is carried out using the t-test and the level of significance is based on the results of the measurement instrument, namely in the cognitive indicator aspect the result is an rCount value of Sig 0.001 < 0.05, in the affective indicator aspect the result is rCount Sig 0.000 <0.05 and in the psychomotor indicator aspect the result value is obtained rcount Sig 0.000 < 0.05, it can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. So there is an influence of using websites on biodiversity material based on research results on the conservation literacy skills of class VII junior high school students

Additional Information: Rendahnya tingkat kemampuan literasi konservasi siswa sehingga siswa memiliki sikap ketidakpedulian terhadap lingkungan sekitar menjadi masalah utama yang kini dihadapi. Adanya media pembelajaran yang bersifat konteksual dapat menjadi solusi dari permasalahan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan website pada materi keanekaragaman hayati berbasis hasil riset terhadap kemampuan literasi konservasi siswa SMP kelas VII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu quasy experiment yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Pandeglang. Kemampuan literasi konservasi siswa diukur melalui pencapaian hasil belajar dan proses belajar pada tiga aspek literasi konservasi yaitu aspek indikator kognitif (yang diukur menggunakan soal posttest-pretest), aspek indikator afektif (yang diukur menggunakan kuesioner sikap) dan aspek indikator psikomotorik (yang diukur dengan penugasan produk poster). Berdasarkan hasil penelitiann kelas eksperiment menggunakan media website EDUKASI dan kelas kontrol menggunakan media power point, hasil dari keduanya berdistribusi normal. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji-t dan taraf signifikansi berdasarkan hasil instrumen pengukuran yaitu pada aspek indikator kognitif diperoleh hasil nilai rHitung Sig 0,001 < 0,05, aspek indikator afektif diperoleh hasil nilai rHitung Sig 0,000 < 0,05 dan aspek indikator psikomotorik diperoleh hasil nilai rHitung Sig 0,000 < 0,05 dapat disimpulkan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Maka terdapat pengaruh penggunaan website pada materi keanekaragaman hayati berbasis hasil riset terhadap kemampuan literasi konservasi siswa SMP kelas VII
