Abstract

This research examines the influence of Sustainability Report Disclosure and Company Growth on company Value with Profitability as an Intervening variable in Energy Sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2022. The intervening variable used in this research is profitability as measured by Return On Equity (ROE). The independent variables in this research are Sustainability Report Disclosure as measured by the 2016 Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) index and the Company Growth variable as measured by Total Asset Growth. The dependent variable used in this research is company value as measured by Price to Book Value (PBV). The population of this research is energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2022 period. The sampling technique used in this research was the purposive sampling method and 10 companies were selected that met the criteria as research samples. The data analysis technique for this research uses multiple linear regression analysis with SPSSv25 software and uses path analysis with the help of an online Sobel calculator. The results of this research show that the Sustainability Report (SR) Disclosure has a positive and significant effect on company Value (PBV) and Company Growth (TAG) has a positive and significant effect on Company Value (PBV). Apart from that, the profitability variable is able to mediate the effect of company growth on company value.

Penelitian ini menguji Pengaruh Pengungkapan Sustainability Report dan Pertumbuhan Perusahaan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan dengan Profitabilitas sebagai variabel Intervening pada perusahaan Sektor Energi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2017-2022. Variabel intervening yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah profitabilitas yang diukur dengan Return On Equity (ROE). Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini Pengungkapan Sustainability Report yang diukur dengan indeks Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) 2016 dan variabel Pertumbuhan Perusahaan yang diukur dengan Total Asset Growth. Variabel Dependen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai perusahaan yang diukur dengan Price to Book Value (PBV). Populasi penelitian ini pada perusahaan sektor energi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2017-2022. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling dan terpilih 10 Perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan software SPSSv25 dan menggunakan analisis jalur dengan bantuan kalkulator sobel online. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Pengungkapan Sustainability Report (SR) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan (PBV) dan Pertumbuhan Perusahaan (TAG) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan (PBV). Selain itu, Variabel profitabilitas mampu memediasi pengaruh pertumbuhan perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan.
