Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of wordwall application game-based learning on the cognitive abilities of class The population in this study were all students of class X MIPA SMAN 1 Pamarayan, with the research sample consisting of two classes, X MIPA 1 as the experimental class and X MIPA 2 as the control class. The sampling technique was carried out using simple random sampling. Data collection techniques use test and non-test techniques, the test technique is in the form of multiple choices to measure students, cognitive abilities, while the non-test technique is in the form of observation sheets regarding the implementation of learning activities. The average cognitive ability of students is 80 which is in the good category. Based on the results of hypothesis testing on cognitive abilities, a significance value was obtained (0,000 < 0,05), which means it is smaller than 0,05, so H0 is rejected, thus H1 is accepted that there is an influence on students' cognitive learning outcomes by using the wordwall learning game application.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis game aplikasi wordwall terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas X pada materi ekosistem, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperiment yang menggunakan desain penelitian randomized control group pretest-postest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X MIPA SMAN 1 Pamarayan, dengan sampel penelitian yang terdiri dari dua kelas, X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes. Teknik tes berupa pilihan ganda untuk mengukur kemampuan kognitif siswa, sedangkan teknik non tes berupa lembar observasi keterlaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran. Rata - rata kemampuan kognitif siswa sebesar 80 yang berada pada kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis pada kemampuan kognitif diperoleh nilai signifikansi (0,000 < 0,05) yang berarti lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka H0 ditolak, dengan demikian H1 diterima bahwa terdapat pengaruh pada hasil belajar kognitif siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran game aplikasi wordwall.
