Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the cognitive abilities of students through divergent questions on learning the concept of interdependence in ecosystems in SMP Al-A'raf Cilegon. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Population and samples in this study were students of class VII semester academic year 2012/2013. Data collection techniques such as test data and nontes. Results of this study indicate that the cognitive abilities of students to the concept of interdependence in ecosystems in SMP Al-A'raf Cilegon, 56% of enough categories, 25% of students are less, and 19% lower students. The conclusion of this research is the cognitive abilities of students in the junior class VII Al-A'raf Cilegon after learning using the most divergent questions attain enough categories, namely 56%. | Additional Information: | ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan kognitif siswa melalui pertanyaan divergen pada pembelajaran konsep saling ketergantungan dalam ekosistem di SMP Al- A’raaf Cilegon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII semester genap tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa data tes dan nontes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan kognitif siswa pada konsep saling ketergantungan dalam ekosistem di SMP Al-A’raaf Cilegon, 56% tergolong kategori cukup, 25% siswa kurang, dan 19% siswa rendah. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas VII di SMP Al-A’raaf Cilegon setelah pembelajaran menggunakan pertanyaan divergen sebagian besar mencapai kategori cukup, yaitu 56%.
