Abstract

This study aims to analyze farm income before and after using combine harvester technology and determine the efficiency of paddy rice farming using combine harvester technology. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative approach. Sampling in this study using simple random sampling, namely farmers who use combine harvester technology in Karangtalok Village, Ampelgading District, Pemalang Regency. This research method involves Cost Analysis, Revenue Analysis, Income Analysis, Farming Efficiency Analysis (R/C Ratio), and Comparative Analysis. Data were analyzed using Excel and SPSS with classical assumption test and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that the average income of farmers before using the combine harvester was smaller than the average income of farmers after using the combine harvester. The calculation of R/C Ratio (R/C > 1) shows that farming is feasible or profitable. Thus, this study shows that the use of combine harvester technology can increase farmers' income and is feasible.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendapatan usahatani sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan teknologi combine harvester dan mengetahui efisiensi usahatani padi sawah dengan menggunakan teknologi combine harvester. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling yaitu petani yang menggunakan teknologi combine harvester di Desa Karangtalok, Kecamatan Ampelgading, Kabupaten Pemalang. Metode penelitian ini meliputi Analisis Biaya, Analisis Penerimaan, Analisis Pendapatan, Analisis Efisiensi Usahatani (R/C Ratio), dan Analisis Komparatif. Data dianalisis menggunakan Excel dan SPSS dengan uji asumsi klasik dan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan petani sebelum menggunakan combine harvester lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan rata-rata pendapatan petani sesudah menggunakan combine harvester. Hasil perhitungan R/C Ratio (R/C > 1) menunjukkan bahwa usahatani ini layak atau menguntungkan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi combine harvester dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani dan layak untuk diusahakan.
