Abstract

The results of the study that explore the relationship between the application of the constructivist approach in mathematics learning, the Independent Learning Curriculum, and the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students with low learning outcomes have the potential for a major impact in shaping educational policies and learning practices in Indonesia. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the application of constructivism theory in mathematics learning and how it affects the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students with low categories. The research method uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The results and conclusions of this study are that there are 27% of students with low categories. Students with low categories show variations in mathematical problem-solving abilities.

Additional Information: Hasil penelitian yang menggali hubungan antara penerapan pendekatan konstruktivisme pada pembelajaran matematika, Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan hasil pembelajaran yang rendah berpotensi dampak yang besar dalam membentuk kebijakan pendidikan dan praktik pembelajaran di Indonesia. maka studi ini tujuannya guna menganalisis penerapan teori konstruktivisme pada pembelajaran matematika dan bagaimana hal itu memengaruhi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa berkategori rendah. adapun metode penelitian memakai penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. hasil dan kesimpulan di studi ini terdapat 27% siswa berkategori rendah. Siswa berkategori rendah memperlihatkan variasi dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis.
