Abstract
With the high number of Generation Z included in the permanent voter list for the 2024 simultaneous elections, this election is dominated by first-time voters on average, this is an encouragement for KPU Public Relations to create a new way to provide education while forming awareness of the participation of novice voters so that they can contribute to giving their voting rights in this election. KPU Public Relations must also understand that many of the novice voters do not know or even understand the election process, as well as the future impact on the direction of the government. Based on the limited knowledge of novice voters, they are included in the group that is vulnerable to golput. Meanwhile, many countries have enacted mandatory policies to reduce the number of golput in their countries. The author is interested in researching the efforts made by the Public Relations of the East Jakarta City KPU in forming awareness of novice voter participation in the 2024 simultaneous elections with a qualitative approach that is studied based on Carl G. Jung's theory of awareness. This study uses observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. The results of the study explain that efforts from the Public Relations of the East Jakarta City KPU are very much needed in shaping the awareness of novice voters in the 2024 simultaneous elections.

| Additional Information: | Dengan tingginya angka generasi Z yang termasuk dalam daftar pemilih tetap Pemilu Serentak 2024 membuat Pemilu kali ini rata-rata didominasi oleh para pemilih pemula, hal ini menjadi dorongan bagi Humas KPU untuk menciptakan cara baru dalam memberikan edukasi seraya membentuk kesadaran berpartisipasi para pemilih pemula agar mereka dapat berkontribusi dalam memberikan hak suaranya pada Pemilu kali ini. Humas KPU juga harus memahami bahwa banyak dari pemilih pemula yang belum mengenal bahkan memahami proses pemilihan, serta dampak kedepannya terhadap arah pemerintahan. Didasari oleh keterbatasan pengetahuan dari pemilih pemula, menjadikan mereka termasuk dalam kelompok yang rentan golput. Sementara itu banyak negara telah memberlakukan kebijakan wajib memilih untuk menekan angka golput di negaranya. ptertarik untuk meneliti upaya yang dilakukan Humas KPU Kota Jakarta Timur dalam membentuk kesadaran berpartisipasi pemilih pemula pada Pemilu Serentak 2024 dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang dikaji berdasarkan teori kesadaran Carl G.Jung. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.
