Abstract

The main problem in learning chemistry is students' difficulty in understanding the material, especially on the topic of acid-base, when taught conventionally. Traditional teaching methods often make it difficult for students to link concepts with real applications, which has an impact on the low understanding and application of the material in everyday life. Therefore, there is a need for teaching methods and teaching media that can provide student interest in learning. This research uses the Research & Development method with the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research produces a product in the form of a project-based learning (PjBL) e-module on the material of making acid-base natural indicators from dragon fruit peel extract which is valid and feasible to use with a total V value for 5 material expert validators of 0.90 and media of 0.91. While the results of 35 students' responses to the project-based learning (PjBL) e-module learning media on acid-base material obtained an average of 84%. Based on the results of data calculation analysis, the e-module that has been developed is considered feasible and practical for use in the learning process of acid-base material.

Additional Information: Pokok masalah dalam pembelajaran kimia adalah kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi, terutama pada topik asam basa, ketika diajarkan secara konvensional. Metode pengajaran tradisional sering kali menyebabkan siswa kesulitan dalam menghubungkan konsep dengan aplikasi nyata, yang berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman dan penerapan materi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan metode mengajar dan media ajar yang dapat memberikan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research & Development dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Penelitian ini memperoleh produk berupa e-modul berbasis project based learning (PjBL) pada materi pembuatan indikator alami asam basa dari eksrak kulit buah naga yang valid dan layak digunakan dengan nilai V total untuk 5 validator ahli materi sebesar 0,90 dan media sebesar 0,91. Sedangkan hasil respons 35 siswa terhadap media pembelajaran e-modul berbasis project based learning (PjBL) pada materi asam basa memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 84%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis perhitungan data, e-modul yang telah dikembangkan dinilai layak dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran materi asam basa.
