Abstract

This research depicts The Meaning Of Limited Face-To-Face Learning During The Covid-19 Pandemic Fot Students At SMAN 1 Cikeusal. The research employed a qualititative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants involved were students and teachers at SMAN 1 Cikeusal. A total of six students as main informants and three teacher as supporting informants. The result of this research show that limited face-to-face learning has meaning for students as self-formation in restoring academic abilities, skills, and attitudes amidst situations leading to “learning loss” or the decline of academic abilities, skills, and attitudes after normal learning activitieswere suspended. This research utilizes George H. Mead’s Symbolic Interactionism theory.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini menggambarkan Makna Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Bagi Siswa di SMAN 1 Cikeusal. Jenis penelitiam yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan yang terlibat merupakan Siswa dan Guru di SMAN 1 Cikeusal. Sebanyak enam siswa sebagai informan utama dan tiga guru sebagai informan pendukung. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas mengandung makna bagi siswa sebagai pembentukan diri dalam mengembalikan kemampuan akademik, keterampilan, dan sikap atas situasi yang mengarah pada “learning loss” atau hilangnya kemampuan secara akademik, keterampilan, dan sikap dari siswa setelah pembelajaran normal dihentikan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Intreraksionisme Simbolik George H. Mead.
