Abstract

Muhammad Hasan Al Banna 5551200079 / Department of Management / Faculty of Economics and Business / Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University / The Effect of Organizational Communication and Non-Physical Work Environment on Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable at Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Provinsi Banten.The purpose of the study is to analyze and prove the mediating role of Job Satisfaction (Z) in the relationship between Organizational Communication (X1) and Non-Physical Work Environment (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) at Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Provinsi Banten. The population in this study was 147 Banten Province BPBD employees, with the sample used being all 147 Banten Province BPBD employees using a saturated sampling technique. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. This research carried out data collection based on literature study, interviews, observations and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4.0 analysis tool. This research has the results that: Organizational Communication (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y), Non-Physical Work Environment (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y), Organizational Communication (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction (Z), Non-Physical Work Environment (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction (Z), Job Satisfaction (Z) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y), Job Satisfaction (Z) is able to mediate the relationship between Organizational Communication (X1) on Employee Performance (Y), and Job Satisfaction (Z) is able to mediate the relationship between the Non-Physical Work Environment (X2) on Employee Performance (Y). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis serta membuktikan bagaimana peran mediasi Kepuasan Kerja (Z) pada hubungan Komunikasi Organisasi (X1) dan Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik (X2) terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y) pada Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Provinsi Banten. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 147 orang pegawai BPBD Provinsi Banten, dengan sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh pegawai BPBD Provinsi Banten sebanyak 147 responden dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini melakukan pengumpulan data berdasarkan studi kepustakaan, wawancara, observasi serta kuesioner. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan alat analisis SmartPLS 4.0. Berdasarkan hasil hipotesis yang diuji pada penelitian ini memiliki hasil. Bahwa Komunikasi Organisasi (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y), Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y), Komunikasi Organisasi (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja (Z), Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Keja (Z), Kepuasan Kerja (Z) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y), Kepuasan Kerja (Z) mampu memediasi hubungan Komunikasi Organisasi (X1) terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y), dan Kepuasan Kerja (Z) mampu memediasi hubungan Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik (X2) terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y).
