Abstract

This study aims to test, analyze and prove how the mediation role of Job Satisfaction (Z) on the relationship between Preventive Discipline (X1) and Organizational Climate (X2) with Employee Performance (Y) at the Central Statistics Agency of Banten Province. The population in this study were all employees of the BPS of Banten Province with a sample of 74 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. The research method used was quantitative with a descriptive approach. This study collected data based on literature studies, interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The data analysis method used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4.0 analysis tool. This study has the results that Preventive Discipline (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y). Organizational Climate (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y). Preventive Discipline (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction (Z). Organizational Climate (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction (Z). (5) Job Satisfaction (Z) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y). Job Satisfaction (Z) is able to mediate Preventive Discipline (X1) with (Y) Employee Performance and Job Satisfaction (Z) is able to mediate Organizational Climate (X2) with (Y) Employee Performance.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis serta membuktikan bagaimana peran mediasi Kepuasan Kerja (Z) pada hubungan Disiplin Preventif (X1) dan Iklim Organisasi (X2) dengan Kinerja Pegawai (Y) pada Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Banten. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai BPS Provinsi Banten dengan sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 74 responden dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini melakukan pengumpulan data berdasarkan studi literatur, wawancara, observasi serta kuesioner. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan alat analisis SmartPLS 4.0. Penelitian ini memiliki hasil bahwa Disiplin preventif (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y). Iklim Organisasi (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y). Disiplin Preventif (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja (Z). Iklim Organisasi (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja (Z). Kepuasan Kerja (Z) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai (Y). Kepuasan Kerja (Z) mampu memediasi Disiplin Preventif (X1) dengan Kinerja Pegawai (Y) dan Kepuasan Kerja (Z) mampu memediasi Iklim Organisasi (X2) dengan (Y) Kinerja Pegawai.
