Abstract
Based on its village development, Bandung Village is one of the villages that has experienced progressive village development in Pandeglang Regency. In 2022-2023, Bandung Village experienced an increase in the Village Development Index (IDM) of 0.1392 and changed the IDM status of Bandung Village from developing to independent. The increase in the IDM value increased the Social Resilience Index (IKS) value by 0.0343, the Economic Resilience Index (IKE) value by 0.3167 and the Environmental Resilience Index value by 0.0666 which had an impact on increasing the welfare of the village community. This study was conducted to determine the transformational leadership carried out by the Head of Bandung Village in achieving an independent village. This study uses the theory of transformational leadership according to Avolio and Bass (2001) with a qualitative research method through a narrative approach in the form of a biography. The results of this study state that the transformational leadership of the Head of Bandung Village is able to mobilize village government officials and the community to work together to achieve village development. The existence of this cooperation cannot be separated from the idealized influence, motivation inspirational, intellectual stimulation and individualized consideration given by Wahyu as the Head of Bandung Village in influencing the village government apparatus and its community so that village development can run on the role of all parties in the village and supported by training, socialization and mentoring provided by the village head to increase the potential of human resources in the village.

| Additional Information: | Berdasarkan pembangunan desanya, Desa Bandung menjadi salah satu desa yang mengalami pengembangan pembangunan desa yang berprogresif di Kab. Pandeglang. Pada tahun 2022-2023 Desa Bandung mengalami kenaikan Indeks Desa Membangun (IDM) sebesar 0,1392 dan merubah status IDM Desa Bandung dari berkembang menjadi mandiri. Kenaikan nilai IDM tersebut memberikan peningkatan terhadap nilai Indeks Ketahanan Sosial (IKS) sebesar 0,0343, nilai Indeks Ketahanan Ekonomi (IKE) sebesar 0,3167 dan nilai Indeks Ketahanan Lingkungan sebesar 0,0666 yang berdampak terhadap meningkatnya kesejahteraan kehidupan masyarakat desa. Adapun dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan transformasional yang dilakukan oleh Kepala Desa Bandung dalam mencapai desa mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori kepemimpinan transformasional menurut Avolio dan Bass (2001) dengan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan naratif berupa biografi. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional Kepala Desa Bandung mampu menggerakkan aparat pemerintah desa dan masyarakat untuk bekerja sama mencapai pembangunan desa. Adanya kerja sama tersebut tidak terlepas dari idealized influence, motivation inspirational, intellectual stimulation dan individualized consideration yang diberikan Wahyu selaku Kepala Desa Bandung dalam memengaruhi aparat pemerintah desa dan masyarakatnya sehingga pembangunan desa dapat berjalan atas peran seluruh pihak yang ada di desa dan didukung dengan pelatihan, sosialisasi dan pendampingan yang diberikan oleh kepala desa untuk meningkatkan potensi SDM di desa. | ||||||
