Abstract
The number of divorce cases in Indonesia continues to increase from year to year, during 2013 - 2015 there was an increase of 23,000 cases. In general, divorce is caused by infidelity. This is characterized by sexual and emotional deviation by one or both parties and is considered a violation of religious and social norms. One of the films that shows infidelity is the Kite Film Series, which was produced by MD Entertainment in 2016. This film, directed by Benni Setiawan, shows infidelity which is a reality in society, but this film also contains many moral messages that can be learned, one of which is the message of maintaining commitment and loyalty to a partner. This research aims to determine the depiction of signifiers and signifieds as well as the meaning of moral messages in the Broken kite Film Series. Researchers use Ferdinand De Saussure's sign theory with a sign system consisting of a signifier and a signified. Researchers used a constructivist paradigm with a descriptive qualitative approach and data collection techniques using documentation and literature study. This research uses a semiotic analysis method with the unit of analysis in the form of images containing interpretations in the form of film scenes by analyzing, describing signifiers and signifieds and recording the meaning of moral messages. The research results show that the Broken kite Film Series contains moral messages about commitment and loyalty to a partner, namely responsibility, affection, loyalty, wisdom, firmness, self-introspection, self-esteem, care and trust.

| Additional Information: | Angka kasus perceraian di Indonesia dari tahun ke tahun terus mengalami peningkatan, sepanjang tahun 2013 – 2015 mengalami kenaikan sebesar 23.000 kasus. Pada umumnya perceraian disebabkan oleh perselingkuhan. Hal ini ditandai dengan penyimpangan seksual dan emosional oleh salah satu atau kedua belah pihak dan dianggap sebagai pelanggaran norma agama maupun sosial. Salah satu film yang menampilan perselingkuhan adalah Series Layangan Putus yang diproduksi oleh MD Entertainment pada tahun 2016. Film garapan Benni Setiawan ini menampilakn perselingkuhan yang menjadi realitas di masyarakat, namun film ini juga banyak mengandung pesan moral yang bisa dipetik salah satunya pesan jaga komitmen dan kesetiaan dengan pasangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggambaran penanda dan petanda serta makna pesan moral pada series layangan putus. Peneliti menggunakan teori tanda Ferdinand De Saussure dengan sistem tanda terdiri dari penanda dan petanda. Peneliti menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis semiotika denga unit analisis berupa gambar yang berisi interpretasi berupa scene-scene film dengan cara menganalisis, menggambarkan penanda dan petanda serta mencatat makna pesan moral. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan series layangan putus mengandung pesan moral tentang komitmen dan kesetiaan dengan pasangan yaitu tanggung jawab, kasih sayang, kesetiaan, kebijaksanaan, ketegasan, introspeksi diri, harga diri, kepedulian dan kepercayaan. | |||||||||
