Abstract
This study examines the structural aspects in the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori. A literary work is created not only related to the structural aspects of its builder, but also social aspects outside of it. It is through this structural aspect that literary works can be understood. The study or scalpel used is Lucien Goldmann's theory of genetic structuralism. This research aims to; (1) analyze the intrinsic elements in the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori, (2) describe the facts of humanity and the collective subject in the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori, and (3) describe the author's worldview in the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The data collection techniques used are the observation and documentation techniques. The source of data in this study is the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori. Based on the results of the research and data analysis that has been carried out, 91 data were found which are divided into 41 humanitarian fact data, 24 collective subject data and 26 author's worldview data. It can be concluded that the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori contains facts or social realities, subjects or actors who create facts and worldviews related to Indonesian history. So it can also be concluded that the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori can be implicated on Indonesian language learning in high school grade 12.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini mengkaji aspek struktural dalam novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori. Suatu karya sastra tercipta tidak hanya terkait dengan aspek struktural pembangunnya saja, tetapi aspek sosial di luar daripada itu pun turut membangun. Melalui aspek struktural inilah karya sastra dapat dipahami. Adapun pengkajian atau pisau bedah yang digunakan ialah teori strukturalisme genetik Lucien Goldmann. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; (1) menganalisis unsur instrinsik yang ada pada novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori, (2) mendeskripsikan fakta kemanusiaan dan subjek kolektif yang ada dalam novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori, dan (3) mendeskripsikan pandangan dunia pengarang yang ada dalam novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah teknik simak-catat dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini ialah novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang telah dilakukan ditemukan 91 data yang terbagi ke dalam 41 data fakta kemanusiaan, 24 data subjek kolektif dan 26 data pandangan dunia pengarang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori memuat fakta-fakta atau realitas sosial, subjek atau pelaku yang menciptakan fakta serta pandangan dunia yang terkait dengan sejarah Indonesia. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan pula bahwa novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori dapat diimplikasikan terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA kelas 12. | |||||||||
