Abstract

This research is based on a problem that occurs in the family, including divorce and one of the parents dies. The purpose of this research is to find out the dynamics of moral education in broken home families in Citerep Village, Ciruas District. The research method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative, and data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. There are 3 types of informants selected in this study: key informants, main informants, and additional informants based on informant selection criteria using non-probability sampling techniques, which is purposive sampling. The validity of the data was checked using source triangulation and method triangulation. Then, the data was analyzed by going through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are that there is moral education taught by parents to children, which is carried out from an early age, and changes in the way of parenting before and after a broken home family occurs. This research is oriented to Bourdieu's theory of habitus and social, economic, and cultural capital as well as moral education from Durkheim's theory and the influence of media on children's social behavior in the arena in the community environment as well as philosophy of values, norms, morals, and ethics related to children's social behavior.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi suatu permasalahan yang terjadi dalam keluarga diantaranya perceraian dan salah satu orangtua meninggal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dinamika pendidikan moral keluarga Broken Home di Desa Citerep Kecamatan Ciruas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini yaitu terdapat 3 jenis: informan kunci, informan utama, dan informan tambahan berdasarkan kriteria pemilihan informan dengan menggunakan teknik non probability sampling yaitu purposive sampling. Keabsahan data diperiksa menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode serta data dianalisis dengan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian dalam penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pendidikan moral yang diajarkan oleh orangtua kepada anak yang dilakukan sejak dini, dan mengalami perubahan dari cara pola asuh sebelum dan sesudah terjadi keluarga Broken Home. Penelitian ini berorientasi pada teori Bourdieu tentang habitus dan modal sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya serta pendidikan moral dari teori Durkheim dan pengaruh media pada perilaku sosial anak dalam arena di lingkungan masyarakat serta filsafat tentang nilai, norma, moral, dan etika yang berkaitan dengan perilaku sosial anak.
