Abstract
YM avocado is a superior product from Lebak, Banten, which requires sustainable cultivation for optimal growth. This research was conducted from February to May 2024 at the Untirta Experimental Farm in Cadasari, Pandeglang. This study aims to improve the growth of YM avocado by applying vitamin B1 and banana leaf compost using a two-factor group randomized design. Data were analyzed using ANOVA, DMRT at the 5% level, and linear regression analysis. The factors were vitamin B1, with doses of 0, 15, 30, and 45 mg/l, and banana leaf compost, with doses of 0, 125, and 250 g/plant. The provision of vitamin B1 at a dose of 45 mg/l gave the highest growth results in the parameters of the number of leaves, leaf length-width ratio, plant height, leaf area, and leaf chlorophyll content, while the stem diameter showed the highest growth at a dose of 15 mg/l. Giving banana leaf compost at a dose of 250 gr/plant gave the highest growth in plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, and leaf chlorophyll content, while the dose of 125 gr/plant gave the highest growth in stem diameter parameters. It can be concluded that the provision of vitamin B1 and banana leaf compost can increase the growth of YM avocado plants.

Additional Information: | Alpukat YM merupakan produk unggulan dari Lebak, Banten, yang membutuhkan budidaya berkelanjutan untuk pertumbuhan yang optimal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari hingga Mei 2024 di Kebun Percobaan Untirta di Cadasari, Pandeglang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan alpukat YM dengan pemberian vitamin B1 dan kompos pelepah pisang dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dua faktor. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA, DMRT pada taraf 5%, dan analisis regresi linier. Faktor-faktor tersebut adalah vitamin B1 dengan dosis 0, 15, 30, dan 45 mg/l dan kompos pelepah pisang dengan dosis 0, 125, dan 250 g/tanaman. Pemberian vitamin B1 dengan dosis 45 mg/l memberikan hasil pertumbuhan tertinggi pada parameter jumlah daun, rasio panjang-lebar daun, tinggi tanaman, luas daun, dan kandungan klorofil daun, sedangkan diameter batang menunjukkan pertumbuhan tertinggi pada dosis 15 mg/l. Pemberian kompos pelepah pisang dengan dosis 250 gr/tanaman memberikan pertumbuhan tertinggi pada parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, dan kandungan klorofil daun, sedangkan dosis 125 gr/tanaman memberikan pertumbuhan tertinggi pada parameter diameter batang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian vitamin B1 dan kompos pelepah pisang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman alpukat YM. | |||||||||
