Abstract
Trading activities using ships give rise to loading and unloading activities to and from ships which take place at the port where ships dock. Loading and unloading activities are carried out by companies operating in the service sector and these companies are usually abbreviated as PBM (Loading and Unloading Company). One of the PBMs in Cilegon is PBM PT. XYZ. There is no identification of potential dangers in loading and unloading activities, but what exists is the identification of potential dangers in the inspection process for heavy vehicles before use. Based on existing problems, it is necessary to identify and reduce risks. Based on existing problems, it is necessary to identify and reduce the risks that occur. One method that can be used to solve problems in occupational health and safety is Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Risk Control (HIRARC). Hazard Identification Risk Assessment Risk Control (HIRARC) is the process of identifying hazards that can occur in routine and non-routine activities within the company. Next, a risk assessment of these hazards is carried out. The results obtained were that there were potential dangers of workers getting caught in sling ropes, workers tripping over iron, sling ropes breaking and spreader iron falling on workers, workers being crushed by loads, workers being pinched by loads, and workers falling from the top of the transport car, workers falling from the top of the hatch, and for The risks that can occur are injuries, bruises, fatal injuries to workers and control that can be achieved is accurate coordination with Stevedore operators, workers are required to be in top condition and focused, work according to SOPs, wear complete PPE in the form of long-sleeved shirts, body harnesses, safety helmets and safety shoes, making displays to maintain a safe distance of 3 – 5 meters.

| Additional Information: | Kegiatan perdagangan yang menggunakan kapal, menimbulkan adanya kegiatan bongkar muat dari dan ke kapal yang berlangsung di pelabuhan sebagai tempat kapal bersandar. Kegiatan bongkar muat dilakukan oleh perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa dan perusahaan tersebut biasa di singkat dengan PBM (Perusahaan Bongkar Muat). Salah satu PBM di Cilegon yaitu PBM PT. XYZ. Belum adanya identifikasi potensi bahaya pada kegiatan bongkar muat, melainkan yang sudah ada ialah identifikasi potensi bahaya pada proses inspeksi kendaraan berat sebelum digunakan. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang terdapat, perlu adanya identifikasi dan mengurangi risiko. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang terdapat, perlu adanya identifikasi dan mengurangi risiko yang terjadi. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah pada kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja adalah Hazard Identification Risk Asessment Risk Control (HIRARC). Hazard Identification Risk Asessment Risk Control (HIRARC) merupakan proses mengidentifikasi bahaya yang dapat terjadi dalam aktivitas rutin maupun non rutin dalam perusahaan. Untuk selanjutnya dilakukan penilaian risiko dari bahaya tersebut. Hasil yang didapat yaitu ditemukan potensi bahaya pekerja tersangkut tali sling, pekerja tersandung besi, tali sling terputus dan besi spreader jatuh terkena pekerja, pekerja tertimpa muatan, pekerja terjepit muatan, dan pekerja terjatuh dari atas mobil pengangkut, pekerja terjatuh dari atas palka, dan untuk risiko yang dapat terjadi ialah cedera, memar, luka fatal pada pekerja dan diperoleh pengendalian yang dapat dilakukan ialah koordinasi akurat dengan operator stevedore, pekerja diwajibkan dalam kondisi prima dan fokus, bekerja sesuai dengan SOP, pemakaian APD lengkap berupa baju lengan panjang, body harness, helm safety dan sepatu safety, pembuatan display untuk menjaga jarak aman 3 – 5 meter. | |||||||||
