Abstract
The Cat Police is an indie band with the genre of Rock n Roll music which collaborates characters from each of the personnel's backgrounds to make the color of the music packaged even more interesting to listen to by carrying the theme of "fun" music which is currently developing in the city of Tangerang. Recently, there have been more and more indie bands growing in the city of Tangerang, which has motivated The Cat Police music group to compete to maintain its existence. To maintain the existence of a group of music, it is necessary to have management as a manager which includes planning, organizing, actuating and evaluating. For example, the band The Cat Police is a band that uses management as a planning organization. The problems studied are how the initial concept was formed and how the management was implemented by The Cat Police music group in Tangerang City. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive through a case study character approach with the object of the indie band community, The Cat Police music group personnel, and members of the Cat Police management. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results obtained were then analyzed descriptively, then reduced, classified, interpreted and described in verbal language to seek verification.

| Additional Information: | The Cat Police merupakan sebuah grup musik indie dengan aliran musik Rock n Roll yang mengkolaborasikan karakter dari masing-masing latar belakang personilnya membuat warna musik yang dikemas semakin menarik untuk didengarkan dengan mengusung tema musik “senang-senang” yang sedang berkembang di Kota Tangerang. Dalam belakangan ini semakin banyak tumbuhnya grup musik indie di Kota Tangerang yang membuat Grup musik The Cat Police semakin termotivasi untuk bersaing mempertahankan eksistensinya. Untuk mempertahankan eksistensi sekelompok grup musik perlu adanya manajemen sebagai pegelola yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan dan pengevaluasian. Sebagai contoh Grup musik The Cat Police adalah salah satu grup musik yang memakai manajemen sebagai organisasi perencanaan. Permasalahan yang diteliti adalah bagaimana konsep awal terbentuknya dan bagaimana manajemen yang diterapkan Grup musik The Cat Police di Kota Tangerang. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif melalui pendekatan tokoh studi kasus dengan objek komunitas band indie, personil grup musik The Cat Police, dan anggota manajemen Cat Police. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif, kemudian direduksi, diklasifikasi, diinterpretasikan dan dideskripsikan dalam bahasa verbal untuk mencari verifikasi | |||||||||
