Abstract
This study aims to describe compliance with the principles of politeness in language, violations of the principles of politeness in language, and factors causing violations of politeness in language learning interactions in the Indonesian language in class X of SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this study used recording techniques, and listening techniques with advanced techniques of free listening, speaking, and taking notes. Data were analyzed using the matching method and contextual analysis techniques. The data validity examination technique was carried out by using the investigator triangulation technique. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, the researcher found 87 data. Research data on the form of compliance with the principle of politeness in language found 55 data which can be detailed as follows: (1) maxim of wisdom as many as 10 data, (2) maxim of generosity as many as 9 data, (3) maxim of appreciation as many as 12 data, (4) maxim of humility as many as 6 data, (5) maxim of agreement as many as 11 data, and (6) maxim of sympathy as many as 7 data. Furthermore, research data on the form of violation of the principle of politeness in language found 32 data which can be detailed as follows: (1) maxim of wisdom as many as 5 data, (2) maxim of generosity as many as 3 data, (3) maxim of appreciation as many as 8 data, (4) maxim of humility as many as 5 data, (5) maxim of agreement as many as 6 data, and (6) maxim of sympathy as many as 5 data. Furthermore, several factors were found to cause violations of politeness in language, including direct criticism factors found as many as 9 data, emotional impulses as many as 5 data, protectiveness of opinions as many as 8 data, deliberately accusing the interlocutor as many as 3 data, and deliberately cornering the interlocutor as many as 7 data.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pematuhan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa, pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa dan faktor penyebab terjadinya pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa dalam interaksi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Pandeglang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deksriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik rekam, teknik simak dengan teknik lanjutan simak bebas libat cakap dan catat. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode padan dan teknik analisis kontekstual. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan melalui teknik triangulasi penyidik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan peneliti menemukan sebanyak 87 data. Data penelitian bentuk pematuhan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa ditemukan sebanyak 55 data yang dapat diperinci sebagai berikut : (1) maksim kebijaksanaan sebanyak 10 data, (2) maksim kedermawanan sebanyak 9 data, (3) maksim penghargaan sebanyak 12 data, (4) maksim kerendahan hati sebanyak 6 data, (5) maksim pemufakatan sebanyak 11 data, dan (6) maksim kesimpatian sebanyak 7 data. Selanjutnya data penelitian bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa ditemukan sebanyak 32 data yang dapat diperinci sebagai berikut : (1) maksim kebijaksanaan sebanyak 5 data, (2) maksim kedermawanan sebanyak 3 data, (3) maksim penghargaan sebanyak 8 data, (4) maksim kerendahan hati sebanyak 5 data, (5) maksim pemufakatan sebanyak 6 data, dan (6) dan maksim kesimpatian sebanyak 5 data. Selanjutnya, ditemukan beberapa faktor penyebab terjadinya pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa diantaranya faktor kritik langsung ditemukan sebanyak 9 data, adanya dorongan rasa emosi sebanyak 5 data, protektif terhadap pendapat sebanyak 8 data, sengaja menuduh mitra tutur sebanyak 3 data, dan sengaja memojokkan lawan tutur sebanyak 7 data. | |||||||||
