Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of preventive discipline and physical work environment on employee performance and to determine the mediating role of work motivation on the relationship between preventive discipline and employee performance. The research method used is quantitative method. The population in this study were all employees of PT Mitra Banten Multimedia totaling 92 employees, who used the saturated sample technique by making the entire population as a sample. Data analysis was carried out through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with the help of the SmartPLS version 3.3.9 analysis tool. The results showed that Preventive Discipline (X1) had a negative and insignificant effect on Employee Performance (Y), Physical Work Environment (X2) had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y), Preventive Discipline (X1) had a positive and significant effect on Work Motivation (Z), Physical Work Environment (X2) had a positive and significant effect on Work Motivation (Z), Work Motivation (Z) had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y), and Work Motivation (Z) was able to mediate the effect of Preventive Discipline on Employee Performance.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin preventif dan lingkungan kerja fisik terhadap kinerja karyawan dan untuk mengetahui peran mediasi motivasi kerja pada hubungan disiplin preventif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini merupakan seluruh karyawan PT. Mitra Banten Multimedia berjumlah 92 karyawan, yang menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh dengan menjadikan seluruh populasi sebagai sampel. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan bantuan alat analisis SmartPLS versi 3.3.9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Disiplin Preventif (X1) berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan pada Kinerja Karyawan (Y), Lingkungan Kerja Fisik (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada Kinerja Karyawan (Y), Disiplin Preventif (X1) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada Motivasi Kerja (Z), Lingkungan Kerja Fisik (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada Motivasi Kerja (Z), Motivasi Kerja (Z) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada Kinerja Karyawan (Y), dan Motivasi Kerja (Z) mampu memediasi pengaruh Disiplin Preventif terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. | |||||||||
