Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of professional commitment, locus of control and Machiavellian on whistleblowing intention with organizational commitment as a moderating variable. The research method uses quantitative methods. The research design consists of a descriptive design and a causal design. The research population is employees who work in the Regional Apparatus Organization (OP) of Banten Province who serve as section heads, section heads and financial administration officials. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 64 respondents. Data analysis uses path analysis with the student version of the Smart PLS 3 program. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the R Square value for the whistleblowing intention variable construct is 0.829, indicating variations in the substantive influence of the variables professional commitment, locus of control and Machiavellian with organizational commitment as a moderator of 82.9 percent. The remaining 17.1 percent was influenced by other variables but was not researched. The results of hypothesis testing show that professional commitment has a positive effect on whistleblowing intention, locus of control has a positive effect on whistleblowing intention, Machiavellian has no effect on whistleblowing intention, organizational commitment moderates the influence of professional commitment on whistleblowing intention, organizational commitment does not moderate the influence of locus of control on whistleblowing intention , and organizational commitment do not moderate the Machiavellian influence on whistleblowing intention. Additional Information: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh komitmen profesional, locus of control dan machiavellian terhadap intention whistleblowing dengan komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel moderasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Desain penelitian terdiri dari desain deskriptif dan desain kausal. Populasi penelitian adalah pegawai yang bekerja di Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OP) Provinsi Banten yang menjabat kepala bagian, kepala seksi dan pejabat penatausahaan keuangan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 64 responden. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan program Smart PLS 3 versi student. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui nilai R Square pada konstruk variabel intention whistleblowing sebesar 0.829 menunjukkan variasi pengaruh substansif variabel komitmen profesional, locus of control dan machiavellian dengan komitmen organisasi sebagai pemoderasi sebesar 82.9 persen. Adapun sisanya sebesar 17,1 persen dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya namun tidak diteliti. Hasil pengujian hipotesis, diketahui komitmen profesional berpengaruh positif terhadap intention whistleblowing, locus of control berpengaruh positif terhadap intention whistleblowing, machiavellian tidak berpengaruh terhadap intention whistleblowing, komitmen organisasi memoderasi pengaruh komitmen profesional terhadap intention whistleblowing, komitmen organisasi tidak memoderasi pengaruh locus of control terhadap intention whistleblowing, dan komitmen organisasi tidak memoderasi pengaruh machiavellian terhadap intention whistleblowing.
