Abstract
Project Based Learning (PJBL) is a learning model that involves a project or activity as a means of learning that is carried out. In the development of education, students need to have critical thinking skills to be able to answer the phenomena that exist in life and also to improve human resources themselves. This study aims to determine the stimulation of critical thinking skills in the application of the project based learning model to stimulate students' critical thinking skills in the material of reaction rates through the independent curriculum. This type of research is quantitative using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The sample in this study were 46 students of class XI - 4 SMAN 3 Kota Serang. The research instruments used were teaching modules, LKPD, pretest and posttest questions, and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used was descriptively through Microsoft Excel and the SPSS version 22 application. Where the results of the study showed the stimulation of students' critical thinking skills as indicated by 5 indicators of critical thinking skills with a very good category. And also supported by the acquisition of the paired sample t-test hypothesis test which obtained a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 is less than 0.05. Based on the data, according to the decision making hypothesis if the sig. value < 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Which means there is a difference in students' critical thinking skills before and after the implementation of the project based learning model on the reaction rate material.

Additional Information: | Project Based Learning (PJBL) merupakan suatu model pembelajaran yang melibatkan suatu proyek atau kegiatan sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Dalam pengembangan pendidikan siswa perlu memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis untuk dapat menjawab fenomena-fenomena yang ada dalam kehidupan dan juga untuk meningkatkan sumber daya manusia itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terstimulusnya keterampilan berpikir kritis pada penerapan model project based learning untuk menstimulus keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi laju reaksi melalui kurikulum merdeka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI – 4 SMAN 3 Kota Serang sebanyak 46 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu modul ajar, LKPD, soal pretes dan postes, dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan secara deskriptif melalui microsoft excel dan aplikasi SPSS versi 22. Dimana hasil dari penelitian menunjukan terstimulusnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang ditunjukkan oleh 5 indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan kategori sangat baik. Dan juga didukung oleh perolehan uji hipotesis paired sample t-test yang memperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 kurang dari 0,05. Berdasarkan data tersebut, sesuai pengambilan keputusan hipotesis jika nilai sig. < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Yang artinya terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya model pembelajaran project based learning pada materi laju reaksi. | |||||||||
