Abstract
This research was aimed to determine the effect of various types of NPK fertilizers and different plant spacing variations on the growth and yield of sweet potato plants (Ipomoea batatas L.) This research was an experimental reseach that uses the treatment of NPK fertilizer types and plant spacing. The environmental design used in this study was a factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) because this research was conducted in heterogeneous environmental conditions and consisted of two treatment factors. The observations made were divided into two, namely observations of plant growth and observations of component yields. The results showed that NPK fertilizer treatment 16:16:16, 15:15:15, 12:27:23 was not significant for all growth components and yield components for sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.). Fertilizer NPK 16:16:16 tends to give better results on all observed parameters. Length of tendrils with an average value of 107.26, Number of branches per plant with an average value of 25.50, Number of tubers per plant with an average value of 4 .45, tuber weight per plant with a value of 1294.50, weight per tuber with a value of 729.44. Spacing of 80 cm x 30 cm gave the best effect on the parameters of vine length at 6 WAP (97.83 cm) and 8 WAP (124.50 cm), tuber weight planted (1226.19 g) and weight per tuber (868.81 g). There was no interaction between the NPK fertilizer type treatment and the variation in spacing for all observed parameters.

Additional Information: | Tanaman ubi jalar merupakan salah satu komoditas yang memiliki karbohidrat, sumber kalori, sumber vitamin dan mineral sehingga cukup baik untuk memenuhi gizi. Pupuk anorganik dapat dikelompokkan berdasarkan jumlah hara yang menyusunnya, yaitu pupuk tunggal dan majemuk. Pupuk tunggal merupakan pupuk yang mengandung hanya satu unsur hara. Pengaturan jarak tanam dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman karena tanaman dapat dengan mudah melakukan proses fotosintesis dan mudah dalam meyerap unsur hara dan air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai jenis pupuk NPK dan varias jarak tanam yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatas L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kampung Sawah Rancaranji Desa Kadubeureum Kecamatan Padarincang Kabupaten Serang Provinsi Banten. Penelitian dilakukan mulai bulan Mei sampai Juli 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Perlakuan pupuk NPK 16:16:16, 15:15:15, 12:27:23 tidak nyata pada semua komponen pertumbuhan dan komponen hasil terhadap tanaman ubi jalar (Ipomoea batatas L.). Pupuk NPK 16:16:16 memberikan hasil cenderung lebih baik terhadap seluruh parameter pengamatan Panjang sulur dengan nilai rata – rata 107,26, Jumlah cabang per tanaman dengan nilai rata - rata 25,50, jumlah umbi per tanaman dengan nilai rata – rata 4,45, bobot umbi per tanaman dengan nilai 1294,50, bobot per umbi dengan nilai 729,44. Jarak tanam 80 cm x 30 cm memberikan pengaruh terbaik pada parameter panjang sulur saat 6 MST (97,83 cm) dan 8 MST (124,50 cm), bobot umbi pertanaman (1226,19 g) dan bobot per umbi (868,81 g). Tidak terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan jenis pupuk NPK dan variasi jarak tanam pada semua parameter yang diamati. | |||||||||
