Abstract

The high market potential of a business attracts many entrepreneurs to enter the industry, which is currently happening in the labor outsourcing service sector. The high demand for labor makes this business highly competitive, compelling companies to enhance their potential. Bintang Saka Enam Delapan, operating in this industry, is facing difficulties in coping with market competition, as indicated by its failure to achieve performance targets. If this continues, there is a potential risk of bankruptcy, and the company needs to quickly address this issue. The company must improve training, skills, and employee discipline to achieve better performance, ensuring future improvements in overall company performance. This study analyzes the relationship between job training and employee performance at PT. Bintang Saka Enam Delapan. The T-Test results show a significant relationship between job training and improved employee performance. However, the mediation of job skills in this relationship is not statistically significant (t = -1.046, p = 0.297), although job training still has a significant positive impact on employee performance (t = value, p = value). Job training has proven important in enhancing job quality and employee productivity. Job training provides employees with opportunities to develop technical and interpersonal skills, improve task understanding, and strengthen work motivation and commitment. Despite the non-significant mediation of job skills, job training remains a key factor in developing employee potential and increasing organizational productivity. This study also found a significant relationship between job training and improved job skills (t = value, p = value), as well as a significant relationship between job skills and employee performance (t = value, p = value). Additionally, job training positively affects employee discipline (t = value, p = value), which in turn influences employee performance (t = value, p = value). Work discipline also plays an important mediating role in the relationship between job training and employee performance. Therefore, the company is expected to continue investing resources in effective and relevant job training programs and strengthening a culture of work discipline to improve individual and overall organizational performance.

Additional Information: Tingginya potensi pasar suatu bisnis mengarahkan pada banyaknya pelaku usaha masuk dalam bisnis tersebut, yang mana saat ini kondisi tersebut sedang terjadi pada usaha jasa penyedia tenaga kerja outsourcing. Kondisi permintaan tenaga kerja yang tinggi menjadikan persaingan dalam bisnis ini sangat kompetitif, sehingga perusahaan dituntut untuk meningkatkan potensi yang dimilikinya. Bintang saka enam delapan yang berada pada bisnis ini cukup kesulitan menghadapi persaingan pasar, yang mana hal tersebut diindikasikan dengan kegagalan dalam pencapaian target kinerjanya. Jika hal tersebut berlanjut maka potensi kebangkrutan akan terjadi, sehingga perusahaan perlu dengan sangat cepat mengantisipasi hal tersebut. Perusahaan perlu melakukan peningkatan pelatihan, keterampilan dan kedisiplinan karyawan agar dapat menunjukan kinerja yang lebih baik, sehingga di masa yang akan datang tercipta peningkatan kinerja pada perusahaan. Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara pelatihan kerja dan kinerja karyawan di PT. Bintang Saka Enam Delapan. Hasil Uji T menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara pelatihan kerja dengan peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Namun, mediasi keterampilan kerja dalam hubungan ini tidak signifikan secara statistik (t = -1.046, p = 0.297), meskipun pelatihan kerja tetap memberikan pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan (t = nilai, p = nilai). Pelatihan kerja terbukti penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas kerja dan produktivitas karyawan. Pelatihan kerja memberikan kesempatan kepada karyawan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan teknis dan interpersonal, meningkatkan pemahaman tugas, serta memperkuat motivasi dan komitmen kerja. Meskipun mediasi keterampilan kerja tidak signifikan, pelatihan kerja tetap menjadi faktor kunci dalam pengembangan potensi karyawan dan peningkatan produktivitas organisasi. Penelitian ini juga menemukan hubungan signifikan antara pelatihan kerja dengan peningkatan keterampilan kerja (t = nilai, p = nilai), serta hubungan signifikan antara keterampilan kerja dengan kinerja karyawan (t = nilai, p = nilai). Selain itu, pelatihan kerja juga berdampak positif pada disiplin kerja karyawan (t = nilai, p = nilai), yang pada gilirannya memengaruhi kinerja karyawan (t = nilai, p = nilai). Disiplin kerja juga memainkan peran mediasi penting dalam hubungan antara pelatihan kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan diharapkan untuk terus menginvestasikan sumber daya dalam program pelatihan kerja yang efektif dan relevan, serta memperkuat budaya disiplin kerja untuk meningkatkan kinerja individu dan keseluruhan organisasi.
