Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors causing not yet optimal production or products of early maturing Entog coconut in Bojongsari Village. Bojongsari Village is the village with the highest production of early maturing Entog coconut. This early maturing coconut is a type of early maturing coconut native to Kebumen Regency, but in practice and results In the field, it shows that production and products from coconut are less than optimal, therefore researchers want to see and analyze what are the causal factors and what are the solutions and strategies to overcome them. The method used is the quantitative descriptive method. Deliberate location determination. The data used is primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews and direct observations with early maturing coconut farmers in Bojongsari Village and extension workers in Alian District, while secondary data was obtained from several literature and library reading materials that could support research. The research results show that the value of the IFE matrix shows the number 6.14 and the EFE matrix shows the number 6.24 and obtains coordinates (0.8; 1.4) on the SWOT analysis diagram where these coordinates are in quadrant 1, which indicates using an aggressive strategy. An aggressive strategy shows a very profitable situation because the Entog Genjah Coconut farmers in Bojongsari Village have strengths and opportunities that are integrated and mutually supportive, namely by using all strength factors to take advantage of existing opportunities or in other words the strategy used is the Strength-Opportunities strategy. (S-O) or Strength - Opportunity strategy. .

Additional Information:	Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab belum maksimalnya produksi atau produk kelapa genjah entog di Desa Bojongsari, Desa Bojongsari merupakan merupakan desa dengan produksi kelapa genjah entog tertinggi Dimana kelapa genjah entog ini merupakan jenis Kelapa Genjah asli Kabupaten Kebumen, tapi dalam prakteknya dan hasil dilapangan menunjukan produksi dan produk dari kelapa ini kurang maksimal, oleh karena itu peneliti ingin melihat dan menganalisa apa saja faktor penyebab dan apa solusi serta strategi untuk mengatasinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Penetapan lokasi secara sengaja. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dan observasi langsung dengan petani kelapa genjah entog di Desa Bojongsari dan penyuluh di Kecamatan Alian, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari beberapa literatur dan bahan bacaan pustaka yang dapat mendukung penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai dari matriks IFE menunjukan angka 6,14 dan matriks EFE menunjukan angka 6,24 dan memeroleh koordinat (0.8;1.4) pada diagram analisis SWOT dimana koordinat ini berada pada kuadran 1 yaitu menunjukan menggunakan strategi agresif. Strategi agresif menunjukan situasi yang sangat menguntungkan karena petani Kelapa Genjah Entog di Desa Bojongsari memiliki kekuatan dan peluang yang sifat nya menyatu dan saling mendukung yaitu dengan cara menggunakan semua faktor kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang yang ada atau dengan kata lain strategi yang digunakan adalah strategi Strenght-Opportunities (S-O) atau strategi Kekuatan - Peluang.
