Abstract
A fall is defined as an incident where a subject moves from a standing position and then immediately lies down or sits on the ground or floor with or without awareness. Falling is something that often happens to elderly people when doing activities. The risk of falling in older people is higher than in younger people. The impact of a fall can cause fatal injuries to elderly people. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept where objects can communicate over a network, enabling data transfer without the need for direct interaction between humans or between humans and devices such as computers. It is necessary to supervise the elderly with a high risk of falling by using a fall detection device. Based on tests conducted by conducting 40 fall tests, 39 falls were successfully identified and 1 failed to be identified. Testing 50 times of daily activities was successfully identified as a non-falling condition. The buzzer test was successfully activated instantly and the Telegram notification was 100% successfully sent.

Additional Information: | Jatuh diartikan sebagai sebuah kejadian pada sebuah subjek dari posisi berdiri lalu secara langsung berbaring atau terduduk pada permukaan tanah atau lantai dengan atau tanpa sadar. Jatuh merupakan hal yang sering terjadi pada lansia ketika melakukan kegiatan. Risiko jatuh pada orang dengan usia lanjut terbilang lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan usia muda. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari jatuh dapat memberikan cedera yang fatal bagi orang lanjut usia. Internet of Things (IoT) adalah konsep di mana objek dapat berkomunikasi melalui jaringan, memungkinkan transfer data tanpa perlu interaksi langsung antar manusia atau antara manusia dan perangkat seperti komputer. Perlu adanya pengawasan terhadap lansia dengan risiko jatuh yang besar dengan menggunakan sebuah alat pendeteksi jatuh. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan dengan melakukan 40 kali pengujian jatuh sebanyak 39 kali jatuh berhasil teridentifikasi dan 1 gagal teridentifikasi. Pengujian 50 kali kegiatan sehari-hari berhasil diidentifikasi sebagai kondisi tidak jatuh. Pengujian buzzer berhasil aktif secara instan dan notifikasi Telegram berhasil 100% terkirim. | |||||||||
