Abstract
Blood pressure is one of the most important factors in the human body's circulatory system. Fluctuations in blood pressure, whether an increase or decrease, can impact the body's homeostasis, so it's important to regularly monitor blood pressure. The aim of this research is to design a non-invasive Internet of Things (IoT) hardware system for blood pressure monitoring and measurement using pulse wave velocity methodology. The developed device utilizes the pulse sensor as a primary component, emitting green light to detect heartbeats. The measurements obtained from the Pulse Sensor are utilized with the pulse wave velocity method to determine systolic and diastolic blood pressure values. Furthermore, the developed device can be connected to the internet, allowing for remote monitoring via the ThingsBoard platform. Comparing the blood pressure readings from the developed device to a standard Omron HEM 6232-T blood pressure monitor showed an error rate of 0.978% for systolic blood pressure and 1.047% for diastolic blood pressure.

Additional Information: | Tekanan darah merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat penting dalam sistem sirkulasi tubuh manusia. Terjadinya peningkatan atau penurunan tekanan darah dapat berdampak pada homeostasis di dalam tubuh manusia sehingga pemantauan pengukuran tekanan darah perlu dilakukan secara rutin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem hardware untuk pemantauan dan pengukuran tekanan darah secara non-invasif berbasis internet of things menggunakan metode pulse wave velocity. Perancangan alat yang dikembangkan menggunakan pulse sensor sebagai komponen utama yang dapat memancarkan cahaya hijau untuk mendeteksi denyut jantung. Hasil dari pengukuran pulse sensor yang digunakan dapat dimanfaatkan menggunakan metode pulse wave velocity untuk mendapatkan nilai tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik. Selain itu, alat yang dikembangkan dapat terhubung dengan koneksi internet sehingga dapat dilakukan pemantauan jarak jauh menggunakan platform ThingsBoard. Hasil pengujian pengukuran tekanan darah dari alat yang dikembangkan dibandingkan dengan tensimeter digital Omron HEM 6232-T didapatkan hasil pengukuran nilai persentase error yang didapatkan untuk tekanan darah sistolik sebesar 0,978%, sedangkan untuk tekanan darah diastolik sebesar 1,047%. | |||||||||
