Abstract
Raw material inventory is an important factor for a company, so raw material inventory must be sufficient for smooth produkction operations. The purpose of this study is to analyze the control of grain raw material inventory and the number of economic orders at PD Sri Asih. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative which describes, examines and explains something that is observed, located in Koper Village, Cikande District. Data collection methods using interviews, questionnaires, observation, documentation. Based on the results of the research that has been done, namely: Controlling the inventory of grain raw materials can be optimized by making repurchases or Reorder Points so that the purchase of raw materials can be scheduled properly, besides that using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method can anticipate in determining supplies and also unexpected events using the Safety Stock formula. The number of orders for economical grain raw material supplies using the EOQ method is 1,022 packages in each order with 5 times the quantity. So this research proves that the EOQ method can minimize the costs incurred by the company. Therefore the EOQ method is very effective for PD Sri Asih to control raw material inventory, especially to save costs.

| Additional Information: | Persediaan bahan baku merupakan faktor yang penting perusahaan, sehingga persediaan bahan baku harus mencukupi untuk kelancaran dalam operasi produksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengendalian persediaan bahan baku gabah serta jumlah pesanan ekonomis pada PD Sri Asih. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif yang mendeksripsikan, meneliti dan menjelaskan sesuatu yang diamat, berlokasi di Desa Koper Kecamatan Cikande. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, angket, observasi, dokumentasi. Teknik pengambilan responden menggunakan purposive. Teknik analisis data yaitu dengan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), biaya pemesanan per tahun, biaya penyimpanan pertahun, jumlah pesanan bahan baku optimal, frekuensi pembelian bahan baku, safety stock, lead time, reorder point. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan yaitu : jumlah pesanan persediaan bahan baku gabah yang ekonomis dengan menggunakan metode EOQ yaitu sebesar 1.022 kemasan dalam setiap kali pesan dengan 5 kali kuantitas. Sehingga penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa metode EOQ dapat memperkecil biaya yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan. Oleh karena itu metode EOQ sangat efektif bagi PD Sri Asih untuk mengendalikan persediaan bahan baku terutama untuk menghemat biaya. | |||||||||
