Abstract

This particular study aimed at finding out The students perception of Class XI SMK Babunajah about English learning at home through e-learning using google class room during covid-19 pandemic. Source of data of this study was 8 students as respondents. The researcher used descriptive qualitative research. The instrument of this research used observation, interview and documentation as data collected with using that consist of six question. The results of the study stated that: The Online learning was be implemented Since the Covid-19. Online learning has both positive and negative impacts. The students perception of Class XI SMK Babunajah about English learning at home through e-learning using google class room during covid-19 pandemic is correct, this application is also very supportive in providing subject matter, especially in assignment collection, this application is also easily accessible to every student. Teachers can provide assignments and learning videos The google classroom application is used because it has several advantages including being able to record student attendance or what is called attendance, although other applications can do this but the google classroom application makes attendance more structured and of course this application can be downloaded via the Appstore and Playstore for free.

Additional Information: Penelitian khusus ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa kelas XI SMK Babunajah tentang pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di rumah melalui e-learning menggunakan google class room selama pandemi covid-19. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah 8 siswa sebagai responden. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi sebagai data yang dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan enam pertanyaan. Hasil penelitiannya menyatakan bahwa: Pembelajaran daring dilaksanakan sejak adanya Covid-19. Pembelajaran daring mempunyai dampak positif dan negatif. Persepsi siswa Kelas XI SMK Babunajah tentang pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di rumah melalui e-learning menggunakan google class room di masa pandemi covid-19 ini benar, aplikasi ini juga sangat mendukung dalam penyediaan materi pelajaran khususnya dalam pengumpulan tugas, aplikasi ini juga mudah diakses oleh setiap siswa.Guru dapat memberikan tugas dan video pembelajaran Aplikasi Google Classroom digunakan karena memiliki beberapa kelebihan diantaranya dapat mencatat kehadiran siswa atau yang disebut dengan absensi, walaupun aplikasi lain dapat melakukan hal tersebut namun aplikasi google class membuat absensi menjadi lebih terstruktur dan tentunya hal ini Aplikasi dapat diunduh melalui Appstore dan Playstore secara gratis.
