Abstract

This research was motivated by the low understanding of student disciplinary behavior at school. This research aims to develop game media to provide an understanding of disciplinary behavior to students at SMPN 1 Jawilan. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The research media uses the ADDIE method. The results of the description of the understanding of disciplinary behavior of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Jawilan were divided into three categories with a score in the low category of 36.8%, the medium category of 51.6%, the high category of 11.6%. Results of media feasibility testing developed by researchers through media experts, material experts, practitioners, as well as student responses. The average yield of development media of 93% is in the very feasible category. So it can be concluded that the traditional congklak game media for providing students with an understanding of disciplinary behavior is very worthy of development.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya pemahaman mengenai perilaku disiplin siswa disekolah. Penelitianini bertujuan untuk dapat mengembangkan media permainan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai perilaku disiplin kepada siswa di SMPN 1 Jawilan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research And Development (R&D). Penelitianedia menggunakan metode ADDIE. Hasil gambaran pemahaman perilaku displin siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Jawilan dibagi menjasi tiga kategori dengan perolehan nilai Kategori rendah sebesar 36,8%, kategori sedang sebesar 51,6%, kategori tinggi 11,6%.Hasilpengujian kelayakan media yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti melalui ahli media, ahli materi, praktisi, juga respon siswa. Perolehan hasil rata-rata pengembangan media sebesar 93% berada pada kategori sangat layak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media permainan tradisional congklak untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai perilaku disiplin kepada siswa sangat layak untuk dikembangkan.
