Abstract
The Principal is a functional staff of teachers who are given the task and responsibility to lead the school, where the learning process is held. The purpose of the study is to analyze the role of school principals as managers and supervisors in improving work discipline. Research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, documentation. Data analysis techniques, the principal has good communication with the teachers, to ensure that they have the expectations and values that the school wants. The research sample was at SDN Sukadame1 District, Pagelaran Kaburpaten Pandeglang, one principal and six teachers. From the research, it was found that some teachers at SDN Sukadame1 still lack time discipline and classroom administration discipline. | Additional Information: | Kepala Sekolah adalah tenaga fungsional guru yang diberi tugas dan tanggung jawab untuk memimpin sekolah, tempat diselenggarakan proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis peran kepala sekolah sebagai manajer dan supervisor dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja. Penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Tehnik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi,wawancara,dokumentasi. Tehnik analisis data,kepala sekolah mempunyai komunikasi yang baik dengan para guru, untuk memastikan mereka memiliki harapan dan tata nilai yang diinginkan sekolah. Sampel penelitian di SDN Sukadame1 Kecamatan, Pagelaran Kaburpaten Pandeglang,satu kepala sekolah dan enam orang guru. Dari penelitian , ditemukan bahwa sebagian guru di SDN Sukadame1 masih banyak kurang disiplin waktu dan disiplin administrasi kelas. Kepala sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam mengawasi dan meningkatkan disiplin kerja guru, bertanggung jawab dan memastikan bahwa para guru menjalankan tugasnya dengan penuh tanggung jawab dan disiplin. Kesimpulan dari penelitian kepala sekolah sebagai manager mempunyai fungsi mengelola sekolah mulai dari perencanaan program sekolah, mengelola sumber daya manusia dan sarana dan prasarana disekolah. Sebagai supervisor kepala sekolah mempunyai fungsi membingbing,membantu dan mengarahkan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan guna menunjang kemajuan pendidikan. | |||||||||
