Abstract

This research was aimed to know the Growth of Avocado Plant Seedlings of YM Variety (Persea americana Mill.) to the Composition of Organic Planting Media and Nanosil Technology Liquid Fertilizer. This research was carried out at the Experimental Land of the Faculty of Agriculture Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University Kp Cikuya Karang Kitri Sindang Sari Village Pabuaran District Serang Regency Banten which was carried out from February until May 2024. This research used a Randomized Completely Blocks Design (RCBD) with two factors. The first factor was, effect of Planting Media (M) which consisted of 3 levels, namely: Sawdust + soil 1:2 (M1), Rice husk + soil 1:2 (M2), Sawdust + rice husk+ soil 1:1:2 (M3). The second factor was Nanosil Liquid Fertilizer which consisted of 3 levels, namely: control (N0), Nanosil Liquid Fertilizer 5 ml/l (N1), and Nanosil Liquid Fertilizer 10 ml/l (N2). The result showed that the composition treatment of planting media has the best influence on the parameters of plant height (11.66 cm), number of leaves (50,44 strands), and level of greenness of the leaves (51.31 unit). The nanosil liquid fertilizer gave the best influence on the parameters of plant height (13.66 cm), number of leaves (50,66 strands), stem diameter (2.72 mm) and leaf width (4,3 mm). There was an interaction between the composition treatment of growing media and the nanosil liquid fertilizer to parameters plant height and number of leaves.

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Kp Cikuya Karang Kitri Desa Sindang Sari Kecamatan Pabuaran Kabupaten Serang Banten yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan Mei 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) ) dengan dua faktor. Faktor pertama, pengaruh Media Tanam (M) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu : Serbuk Gergaji + Tanah 1:2 (M1), Sekam Padi + Tanah 1:2 (M2), Serbuk Gergaji + Sekam Padi+ Tanah 1:1: 2 (M3). Faktor kedua adalah Pupuk Cair Nanosil yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu: kontrol (N0), Pupuk Cair Nanosil 5 ml/l (N1), dan Pupuk Cair Nanosil 10 ml/l (N2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan komposisi media tanam memberikan pengaruh paling baik terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman (11,66 cm), jumlah daun (50,44 helai), dan tingkat kehijauan daun (51,31 unit). Pupuk cair nanosil memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman (13,66 cm), jumlah daun (50,66 helai), diameter batang (2,72 mm) dan lebar daun (4,3 mm). Terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan komposisi media tanam dan pupuk cair nanosil terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun.
