Abstract

This research was aimed to know the response of growth and yield of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) with concertation of EM4 and different varieties. This research was conducted at Sukadalem village, Waringin Kurung distric, Serang regency, Banten province, from March until May 2016. This research used Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD). First factor were concentration of EM4 that consisted of 4 levels control, 3 ml/L, 6 ml/L, 9 ml/L and second factor were varieties of cucumber that consisted of 3 levels: Mercy, Harmony, Hercules, with 3 repetation, so there were 36 experiment units. The results showed that concentration of EM4 gave a significant effect on the number of cucumber (7,27). Varieties of cucumber gave a significant effect on plant height 14 DAP (Day After Planting) = 7,34 cm, 21 DAP = 37,88 cm, 28 DAP = 112,72 cm, harvesting (43,25 days), and the number of Cucumber (6,75). There was significant interaction between concentration of EM4 and varieties of cucumber on the number of cucumber.
