Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the stages of development, feasibility, effectiveness as well as describe and analyze students' responses to the comic media of the legend of Gunung Pinang to increase students' cultural literacy in phase B at SDN Pasir Gadung. This research uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design development, implementation and evaluation. The sources of quantitative data in this research are the results of cultural expert validation, media expert validation results, basic education expert validation, results of filling out student response questionnaires. Qualitative data was obtained from notes, suggestions and comments from validators and students. Research instruments include observation guidelines, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The research results show that 1) The level of appropriateness of the media validated by cultural experts is included in the very appropriate category with a percentage score of 97%; 2) The media feasibility level validated by media experts is included in the very feasible category with a score percentage of 94.73%; 3) The media suitability level validated by Basic Education experts with a percentage of 87.5% is included in the very feasible category; 3) effectiveness test through pretest and posttest with an N-Gain value of 0.70, which is included in the high category; 4) the results of students' responses to the comic media Legend of Gunung Pinang are included in the very good category with a score percentage of 94%. Thus the comic media Legend of Gunung Pinang to increase cultural literacy in phase B students is effective and suitable for use in the learning process.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis tahapan pengembangan, kelayakan, efektivitas serta mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis respon peserta didik terhadap media komik Legenda Gunung Pinang untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya siswa pada fase B di SDN Pasir Gadung. Sumber data kuantitatif pada penelitian ini berupa hasil validasi ahli Budaya, hasil validasi ahli media, Validasi ahli Pendidikan dasar, hasil pengisian angket Respon Peserta Didik. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari catatan, saran dan komentar dari validator dan peserta didik. Intrumen penelitian berupa pedoman observasi, wawancara, tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Tingkat kelayakan media yang divalidasikan kepada ahli budaya termasuk kedalam kategori sangat layak dengan skor Persentase 97%; 2) Tingkat kelayakan media yang divalidasikan kepada ahli media termasuk kedalam kategori sangat layak dengan Persentase skor 94,73%; 3) Tingkat kelayakan media yang divalidasikan kepada ahli Pendidikan Dasar dengan Persentase 87,5% termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak; 3) uji efektivitas melalui pretest dan posttest dengan nilai N-Gain 0,70 termasuk kedalam kategori tinggi; 4) hasil respon peserta didik terhadap media komik Legenda Gunung Pinang termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik dengan Persentase skor 94%. Dengan demikian media komik Legenda Gunung Pinang untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya pada siswa fase B efektif dan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.
