Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore how school brands can be used as a tool to instill character in students through learning al Qur’an. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which involves in-depth interviews with teachers, school principals, students and parents, as well as direct observation of al Qur'an learning activities. Research findings show that a strong school brand, appropriate strategy and implementation, as well as an appropriate evaluation program to measure effectiveness play a significant role in establishing a learning environment that supports the cultivation of discipline and responsibility. The strategies implemented include collaboration with student parents, building commitment from teaching staff, setting clear and measurable targets, interactive learning activities, and implementing positive habituation programs in students' daily lives. Measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of cultivating the character of discipline and responsibility at SDIT IQRA Serang is carried out through various activities involving all elements of the school, including teachers, students and parents. Measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of character cultivation includes tahfidz d exam activities, counseling for students and parents, coordination meetings as well as progress reports and program preparation. The conclusion of this research is that a school brand that is well designed and implemented can be an effective means of developing discipline and responsibility in students, which ultimately supports the achievement of learning targets as well as students' academic and non-academic achievements.

Additional Information: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana brand sekolah dapat digunakan sebagai alat untuk menanamkan karakter pada peserta didik melalui pembelajaran al Qur'an. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan guru, kepala sekolah, peserta didik, dan orang tua, serta observasi langsung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran al Qur'an. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand sekolah yang kuat, strategi dan implementasi yang tepat, serta program evaluasi yang sesuai untuk mengukur efektivitas berperan signifikan dalam membentuk lingkungan belajar yang mendukung penanaman karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab. Strategi yang diterapkan mencakup kerjasama dengan wali murid, membangun komitmen tenaga pendidik, penetapan target yang jelas dan terukur, kegiatan pembelajaran interaktif, serta pelaksanaan program-program pembiasaan positif dalam keseharian peserta didik. Pengukuran dan evaluasi efektivitas penanaman karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab di SDIT IQRA Kota Serang dilakukan melalui berbagai kegiatan yang melibatkan seluruh elemen sekolah, termasuk guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Pengukuran dan evaluasi efektivitas penanaman karakter meliputi kegiatan ujian tahfidz d, konseling peserta didik dan wali murid, rapat koordinasi serta laporan progres dan penyusunan program. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa brand sekolah yang dirancang dan dilaksanakan dengan baik dapat menjadi sarana efektif dalam mengembangkan karakter disiplin dan tanggung jawab pada peserta didik, yang pada akhirnya mendukung pencapaian target pembelajaran serta prestasi akademik dan non-akademik peserta didik.
