Abstract

Located in a rapidly growing urban area, Jati Mulya LRT Station is one of the choices of the people of Bekasi to use public transportation quickly, safely and comfortably. Although the transportation facilities in the Jati Mulya LRT Station area are adequate, there are several obstacles to the facilities on the pedestrian path that can hinder connectivity in the area. This study aims to determine the characteristics of pedestrian movement, the availability and suitability of supporting facilities, and provide recommendations for planning the design of pedestrian path facilities that support connectivity in the Jati Mulya Bekasi LRT Station Area. The method used is a survey and direct observation using the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) method to determine the level of sidewalk service. The results show that the characteristics of pedestrians, both in segment 1 and segment 2 have a "A" sidewalk service level where pedestrians are free to choose speed without conflict. However, some supporting facilities such as crossing signs, CCTV, Emergency Box, and bus stops in segment 2 are still not available. The design of pedestrian lane facilities to support recommended connectivity is in the form of the provision of crossing signs, CCTV, Emergency Boxes, garbage cans, seats, speed bumps and bollards, wayfinding and the provision of bus stops in segment 2 considering the high volume of passengers from various modes of transportation in the segment.

Additional Information: Terletak di Kawasan perkotaan yang berkembang pesat Stasiun LRT Jati Mulya menjadi salah satu pilihan masyarakat bekasi untuk menggunakan transportasi umum dengan cepat, aman dan nyaman. Meskipun fasilitas transportasi pada kawasan Stasiun LRT Jati Mulya sudah memadai namun terdapat beberapa kendala pada fasilitas pada jalur pedestrian yang dapat menghambat konektivitas pada kawasan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik pergerakan pejalan kaki, ketersediaan serta kesesuaian fasilitas pendukung, serta memberikan rekomendasi perencanaan desain fasilitas jalur pedestrian yang menunjang konektivitas di Kawasan Stasiun LRT Jati Mulya Bekasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei serta observasi langsung dengan metode Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) untuk menentukan tingkat pelayanan trotoar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pejalan kaki, baik di segmen 1 maupun segmen 2 memiliki tingkat pelayanan trotoar "A" di mana pejalan kaki bebas memilih kecepatan tanpa konflik. Namun, beberapa fasilitas pendukung seperti rambu penyebrangan, CCTV, Emergency Box, dan halte bus pada segmen 2 masih belum tersedia. Perancangan fasilitas jalur pedestrian untuk menunjang konektivitas yang direkomendasikan berupa penyediaan rambu penyebrangan, CCTV, Emergency Box, tempat sampah, tempat duduk, speed bump dan bollard, wayfinding serta penyediaan halte bus di segmen 2 mengingat tingginya volume penumpang dari berbagai moda transportasi di segmen tersebut.
